Bought a home in 2011.
Mike was a true professional to work with and gave us prompt attention to our needs throughout the process. I would highly recommend Mike Castle if you are searching for a real estate agent.

Bought a home in 2011.
I initially spoke with Mr. Castle to inquire about one of his listings. He determined I would not be able to purchase nor would I want to purchase the listed property. He immediately knew what properties would suit my needs as a first time buyer with little down and low payments. Within a week, I was under contract to purchase. To no fault my own or Mr. Castle, the purchase agreement could not be fulfilled. Even as I was discouraged, Mr. Castle was not. He remained diligent to find me a home.
We found a home, which I love, and submitted a bid. Mr Castle instinctively knew the property would be a hot commodity and took the initiative to ask the financiers for a maximum approval letter. After a call for highest and best by the seller, we resubmitted using the new letter of approval and clinched the winning bid. After entering into contract and receiving inspection reports, Mr Castle pushed for a reduction in price and, after a bit of haggling, was able to substantially reduce the purchase price. I was able to close escrow in a timely manner while paying maybe one quarter of average closing costs.
Mr. Castle has definitely earned my gratitude, my trust, and my recommendation to others for his diligence, his knowledge, and his overall ability to perform as an agent for American Dream Realty.

Bought a home in 2011.
As a first-time home buyer, I had a lot to learn and of course a limited budget. Mike treated me like a priority client through the entire process and I was never pushed off for another client.
Despite significant personal travel around my closing date, I was able to have an on-time closing due to Mike's resourcefulness pulling in outside contractors needed to close the deal (contractors, etc).
While Mike's knowledge of the area and process was phenomenal, if I were to go through another purchase with him as my agent, I'd bring my own team on contractors along. He referred some people who could get the job done but were not as committed and thorough as he was.
Highly recommended!

Bought a Townhouse home in 2011 for approximately $300K in Blossom Valley, San Jose, CA.
Well done transaction! This was a very difficult transaction to close due to the banking environment, and Mike did a great job of keeping both sides of the transaction informed and faciliated the changes that needed to be done expertly. Thanks Mike!

Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $350K in Santa Cruz, CA.
Great real estate agent. Hardworking, responsive and available to help at almost any reasonable hour of the day. Helped guide me through the process of purchasing my first house. Helped close the deal even with challenging issues regarding obtaining conventional financing. Mike also has a great network of local people that he works well with.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $300K in Watsonville, CA.
We started our search for our first home with just a vague idea that we wanted a home in Santa Cruz county. I asked around and Mike Castle was the most highly recommended Realtor in that area - and for good reason! He was always available, always willing and able to answer any questions we had, and was extremely patient and good humored with us (we were extremely picky and must have looked at over 50 houses). Not only was he able to help us find the perfect home but he was able to navigate us through a lending nightmare. He never gave up on us and knew just the right contacts to get us our dream home. I would recommend Mike Castle to anyone looking for a home. I can honestly say he is the best Realtor I have ever come across.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $450K in Royal Oaks, CA.
Mike helped us buy our first home, which would have been terrifying if it wasn't for him. He has been on top of everything from day one, and everything has gone perfectly. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy to contact, and explains everything very clearly without any condescension whatsoever.
He has been extremely patient with us (we were being very picky and he showed us over 40 houses and never balked once), and has worked very hard to get us the house that is perfect for us. He's devoted a ton of time to us, and, since we are not the high-end client that's going to make a huge commission, we appreciate it even more.
I couldn't have a higher recommendation for any service professional.
