Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $125K in Cleveland, Minneapolis, MN.
I found Shannon on the internet and worked with her for a year and a half to find a house I liked, with a fireplace, that I could afford on my Social Security income.
I was impressed with her when we first met at a Caribou coffee near my home. And I wasn't disappointed after I signed an agreement with her to represent me.
She put her heart and soul into helping me and always told me if a house we viewed was not one I should consider. She is completely on the side of the buyer and works tirelessly to find the perfect home no matter how long it takes. She also makes sure all preparations for pre-qualification, getting the mortgage approval and closing stay on track. She often had to keep after the mortgage broker to provide timely service. She made sure I got a highly qualified home inspector and that closing went smoothly. I'm just amazed at how great and skilled she is, I give her a gold star 100% rating. And she doesn't forget you after the sale, she always wants to help.
This is my fourth home purchase and by far the best real estate agent I haver ever worked with!
Shannon, was great. She had expert knowledge on everything that came up during our purchase of a short sale. She always returned our calls and texts, no matter the time. She listened to what we were looking for in a home and found it. If we ever need to look for a new home, I will call her.
Bought a Condo home in 2005 for approximately $150K in North End, Saint Paul, MN.
Shannon is an exceptional professional to work with in the search for your home. She takes the time to get to know you and being a good listener is an art she has perfected. I was non-stop in looking at dozens of places and Shannon was right by my side, never treated me as a too picky person and sought to find a place with the same amenities I was looking for; needless to say she helped me find the perfect place.
She is now working with my daughter and son-in-law to find their perfect home. If I had been dissatisfied with her services and skill set I would never have recommended her to the most important people in my life, my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.
She also has a wicked sense of humor and can see the lighter side in even the most dire places you might encounter during your hunt for your home. One thing Shannon will never do is give up on you or your search for your perfect home.
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $125K in Seward, Minneapolis, MN.
My husband and I could not imagine a better buyer's agent. This was our first house purchase and after some discussions with other realtors and a bunch of research for a buyer's agent we found Shannon. If you study the real estate market and contracts, everything is setup to favor the seller. We definitely felt like we had a leg up in the process because we had Shannon on our side. She is an excellent negotiator, very honest and knowledgeable about houses and housing markets, persistent, diligent, tells it like it is, gives advice without being pushy, and is always available to answer questions (pretty much day or night:)).
We ended up buying a foreclosure in Minneapolis and the house needed a complete remodel to make it livable. In the process of fixing it up we met with at least 50-60 different contractors/professionals and had varying experiences with them (some awful, some great). In looking back on the whole process from searching for a house, to buying the house, to fixing it up, we can honestly say that choosing to work with Shannon as our buyer's agent was probably our best decision. We can't recommend her enough! Work with her once and you'll never want to work with anyone else again!
Bought a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $250K in Woodbury, MN.
Shannon, really listened to what I wanted/needed. She looked for houses that contained an open floor plan and if it did not she let me know why she thought the house might be a good one to look at. Seeing I was a first time home buyer, it was very helpful to have her expand my thinking of homes. My house that I bought had a open floor plan, and I had a better understanding of what was on the market and what I liked, because of Shannon. She answered all my questions with great expertise. It did not matter if it was a specific house question, a offer question or a closing question. If she did not know an answer she found the answer and got back to me promptly. She was always very prompt at returning my calls or emails.
Shannon has exceeded my expectations for a buyer's agent. She listens to the needs of the client and works long hours to find properties that meet those needs. A fierce negotiator, yet honest and pragmatic about what the seller will accept.
We moved to Minnesota from out of state. Shannon maintained contact with us for a year during this process, even when things were up in the air for a while. We had 1 weekend to look around and make a decision and she managed to give us an extensive tour of the cities. We ended up building a new house and Shannon was with us every step of the way. She made numerous trips to the cite and helped us keep things on schedule. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
I purchased my first condo with Shannon's help. She is very knowledgeable and very patient in answering my endless home buying questions. The thing I like about her is that she never rushed me in making a purchasing decision. So, if you are looking to buy your first home or second home she is the one you should talk to.
