I dont disagree that it would end up being a high maintenance decision down the road. However I wouldnt think removal would be to big of a challenge. Woulndt power washing using a lower pressure with a "legal solvent" do the trick? Ive used solvents to strip dark finish off of fences so they could have more of a natural clear coat finish applied. Its turned out great for me.
