I noticed that some homes in my neighborhood would sit on the market for months. Then the Coldwell Banker sign with Monica's name would go up, and the house would sell quickly. So when it was time to sell my house, I spoke to one neighbor who had recently had a great experience with Monica as her listing agent, then called Monica right away. We set a reasonable price, had a professional home stager help me get the house ready, and my house was listed the week before Thanksgiving. Despite the holidays, over 30 families looked at my house and I had a sales agreement in less than four weeks. This was one of two homes that Monica sold for me in 2013.
In addition, Monica helped me sell my mother's home - which was a little more difficult. The house was in a somewhat rural area in Washington County and there weren't many comparable recent sales to help us in setting a price. I agreed to Monica's suggested price and in a few months we had a buyer. Unfortunately, the house's sewage system could not pass a dye test. After many months of having a new sewage system designed and installed and a new well drilled, the house was re-listed with Monica. Within a few months we had a sales agreement with a new buyer. The closing went smoothly.
I have and will continue to recommend Monica Mahla to anyone listing or buying a home in this area.
