I owe Christine a great deal for keeping me sane and focused during my first home buying experience in 2006. Her enthusiasm, good attitude, and quick grasp of what I sought in a home made for a smooth searching and buying process. I was especially impressed with her local knowledge; she's from the area, and knows all the corners of northern Virginia like the back of her hand. She has an extensive network in the realtor and mortgage broker world, so she is a wealth of information on up and coming listings and the best people to talk with about the mortgage process. Her "insider" knowledge made me feel like I was being given the full breadth of options in my search. What I really appreciate about Christine - and why she is assisting my husband and me on our next home search in the coming months - is her listening skills. She makes note of your likes and dislikes, combines that information with her expert knowledge of the region and what will work within your budget, and comes up with a list of workable options that make you feel as though you are truly getting custom treatment. I never rushed, I never felt like Christine was pushing me toward one option over the other, and I appreciated her decisiveness at times we went to look at properties and were disappointed with what we saw; as one example, one listing's photos did not at all match the appearance of the house in person, and Christine was quick to eliminate it from the list and announced that we were leaving the showing so as not to waste any of my time. She takes the time to know what her client wants, and goes after it, even if the process isn't as fast as some other realtors would like it to be for a quick sale. Christine was recommended to me by a close friend, and I've in turn recommended her to other friends. She also handles the rental of my condo, so I've worked with her in several respects. I highly recommend reaching out to her if you are diving into the northern Virginia real estate market; you will know from the outset that she is an expert at what she does.
