Mike Gallagher has been surrounded by real estate his entire life. From his great grandfather to his own parents, having a license has been a part of his family. Mike started at the age of 8 as a painter's apprentice and worked with his father in his construction site clean-up crews. Mike's mother always made sure that he not only understood the construction and maintenance of homes, but how the industry operates. Always keeping his passion at the forefront of his heart, Mike translated the ideals of a real estate agent learned from his family to service to country. Mike signed with the Navy to eventually become an officer. The Navy had him join the Naval Academy Foundation Program and enroll into the New Mexico Military Institute. The leadership skills and military training learned there helped Mike enter the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. During his time there Mike was an Ocean Systems Engineer, Division 1 varsity athlete on the Navy Crew team, and made it to the rank of Midshipman Third Class. After spending a short time on the USS Ponce working with the Deck Department, 2nd Division, from which Mike received a set of career ending injuries that prohibited him from completing his training.
