Nancy Winslow grew up in the New Hope area of neighboring Perquimans County, and has lived in Edenton since 1980. She entered the world of real estate in 1978 was an office manager for an Elizabeth City firm. In 1981, Nancy obtained her real estate license and opened a small brokerage office in Edenton. She was the owner and broker in charge of Top Sale Realty for 30 years, making her one of the Albemarle Area's longest serving Realtors. During her career, Nancy has served as President of the Albemarle Area Association of Realtors, and was awarded Realtor of the Year in 1993. She has served on numerous committees for the Association, and has earned GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designations. Nancy was named Business Professional Women's Club Woman of the Year in 1992, and Women's Council of Realtors member of the year in 2006.
In 2011, eager to spend more time with grandchildren and traveling, Nancy and Waldo decided to join Perry & Co. Sotheby's International Realty as the Winslow Team. With years of experience in real estate in the Albemarle Area, Nancy brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. From the first-time home buyer to the seasoned real estate investor, Nancy understands her clients' needs. Her level of professionalism, gained through her vast knowledge of the industry and our local market, enables her to assist both buyers and sellers with confidence and ease.
Nancy and her husband Waldo have 2 grown children who live in Raleigh and Charlotte, and they are blessed with 3 grandchildren. Nancy has been a member of the Edenton Woman's Club, currently serves on the Edenton Historical Commission, and is an active member of Edenton Baptist Church.
