Nancy Brenner helped my husband and I buy our first house in 2010. She was wonderful with us, and dealing with first time home-buyers is no picnic. I knew of Nancy because she sold my parents' house a few years before. She graciously led us through the process of finding our house, treating us like we were valued clients. She knows the process well and really helped us focus in on what we wanted. Although we had some pretty specific needs (a fixer-upper since my husband is a carpenter, our ...ahem.....not impressive price range, my desire for an older house with charm) she never tried to show us houses that were unsuitable, or out of our budget. She showed us all the houses we liked "on paper" and made a number of suggestions that were very insightful. In fact, we ended up buying a house that we initially rejected, but she encouraged us to see it again and think on it. She negotiated skillfully and we got a great deal on the house. Nancy was a joy to work with--honest, knowledeable, witty and smart. She worked hard for us and was always responsive to our needs and ideas. NAncy would be the very first person I would go to if I were to buy or sell a house again.
