Sold a home in 2011.

Summary:

We met David about three years ago and he helped us find our house here in Swansboro, NC., after moving here from PA. He is not only a wonderful and sincere person, but a terrific realtor. He helps his clients through the home search process from start to finish. He gave us hours of education and wonderful tours of the area to make sure it was where we wanted to be. He puts no pressure on you and really wants you to love your home. We are now looking for something a little larger and he has developed a great selling package for our home and also is an expert in internet advertising and keeping up with the current market trends. I am a native North Carolinian who has been visiting the state's coastal areas since the fifties. I have a picture of myself fishing on the Point at Emerald Isle when I was a teenager. At that time the only way to get there was by four wheeling down the beach.

Real estate was my third career, but I am no longer an active Realtor® or active in selling real estate.  However, I still have my NC real estate license. 

I am now a full time author and photographer.

After graduating with a degree in history from Harvard, I started a purebred cattle operation in Maritime Canada. In the early eighties we dispersed our cattle herd, and two years later after helping start a chain of Apple computer stores, I went to work for Apple.

I spent nearly twenty years at Apple, and few years afterward in the technology industry including a year as vice president of sales and marketing for Webmail.us now a division of Rackspace.

In 2006, after exploring areas from Chincoteague Island to Oak Island, my wife agreed to let me fulfill a lifelong dream, and move to the coast where I could have a boat behind our home and beautiful water views from my office.

We have been boating, fishing, and walking the beaches of the Emerald Isle area ever since. I am an avid photographer, writer, and lover of the water.

I consider the Intracoastal Waterway to be our main street, and the White Oak River to be my home river. It is a pristine river which gives me access to the ICW in less than ten minutes. I have caught flounder minutes from my dock in my kayak. Sometimes it is less forty five minutes from catching a fish to sitting down at the table and enjoying it.

My motto is "Carteret County, A Secret to Share."
