My husband and I had an awesome experience with Pam! We were looking for a home on a relo package from Denver, CO with little to no experience with the Philly metro area. Pam was extremely patient with us as we learned the different neighborhoods and took our "most important" list very seriously! She would always provide us great advice when seeking out our "perfect home"...even when we thought there was nothing left in Philly for us to see, we found it! The closing process was a piece of cake and she was very helpful explaining the different processes and documents we had to pull together...without her knowledge and direction we would have been lost! We would highly recommend Pam to any of our family or friends that need a realtor in the area!
Sold a Condo home in 2007 for approximately $400K in Fairmount-Spring Garden, Philadelphia, PA.
Pam worked exceedingly hard to sell our house in a very difficult market. In the end she found the buyer and obtain for us the best price that we could have gotten in a difficult Market. She is very consceintious.
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $350K in Elkins Park, PA.
Pam Marquette was our buyers agent a couple of years ago. She provided us with such outstanding service that to this day, when I tell people the level of professionalism Pam exhibited, they almost can't believe that there's a real estate agent who is this good.
Due to Pam's careful attention to detail, and pure gut instinct, she uncovered a problem in a home that could have cost us $50,000. Because she acted in our interest, the sale fell through. Many agents would have looked the other way, or wouldn't even be smart enough to know what to look and ask for. Pam truly saved us.
I can't recommend Pam highly enough. She's a straight shooter, she will always tell you the truth, and she will always look out for your interests. Combine that with outstanding negotiating skills and sharp business instincts, you've got yourself a winner.
First met Pam in 2009 when she found me a rental. We bought a house with her as our agent this year. She is very easy to work with, knows the area incredibly well, and has very accurate perceptions of what a house is likely to sell for and what problems could arise.
We used Pam to purchase our property in Elkins Park several years ago. We were totally satisfied with the service we received. We are very selective people and we look at many more houses than the average couple before choosing which one to buy. Very quickly Pam understood our desires and preferences and was screening homes for us to keep us from wasting time at homes we would never select. Once we found the right house, she guided us through the paperwork very efficiently and quickly. There were no hiccups in the preparation for closing, and the only issue at closing was with the sellers bank (clearly something beyond our or Pam's control)
Sold a Townhouse home in 2011 for approximately $275K in Lafayette Hill, PA.
Pam has incredible knowledgeable of how to overcome the difficulties one is subjected to in trying to sell in this down market. I trusted her implicitly and she was able to help me sell my house even when I was living in another state at the time! I highly recommend Pam as a realtor. She is passionate about her job and she takes on every task with vigor to accomplish the customer's goals! And for me that was to sell my house!
Pam, most importantly, is a fantastic person. when youre considering putting down 100s of 1000s of dollars. and the small amount of savings to your name, its important to feel like you can trust your realtor. to that end, i had never had any doubt Pam was acting with my best interests at heart.
I have very high standards for just about everything i 'rate.' and hate when people give unwarranted high ratings. if I really had to find an area thats not A+, it would be negotiation skills - at the end of the day, I felt like I could have gotten my house for cheaper. but maybe she knew how much I loved it, and maybe I didnt convey that it wouldnt be the end of the world to get a house...
fantastic person. sharp. funny. been in the business for a while. doesnt have that mentality that a lot of agents have that started 6-8 years when houses sold themselves. works hard
I have used Pam both as a listing agent and as a buyers broker and in both roles she was fantastic: knowledgeable, responsive, energetic and determined to get the deal done quickly, smoothly and completely satisfactorily. She knows the area, she knows the business and she knows how to get things done. I would definitely use her again.
Sold a Single Family home in 2006 for approximately $475K in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
Pam did a great job helping us sell our home and purchase a new one. She worked actively to sell our old house. When a potential buyer showed up at a neighborhood fair, she actually walked him over to our house (which he ended up buying not too long after). And she listened to us when we told her what we were looking for in a new home, and only took us to homes that met our criteria. And she found our current home and helped us negotiate a good price.
Since we had not bought or sold a house in 35 years, she helped us navigate the complexities of real estate transactions and made us feel comfortable with the process.
