Sold a Single Family home in 2012 in Knightdale, NC.
We bought our house less than a year ago and then found out my husband was being transferred. I interviewed another realtor before Petra, who suggested that we list for less than what we paid. We have worked really hard on our house so the news was less than desirable. As soon as I met Petra, I realized that this other realtor was only interested in her quick sale and not our situation. Petra is an expert in the area suggested we list for $14,000 over what we paid. Not only was that music to our ears, but I immediately trusted Petra. I knew that she cared the first time I met her. She immediately set up an open house and we got great traffic. We had a ton of showings after the open house. Two weeks after we listed, we got a full price offer! Petra is there for you 24/7. She will always respond at any time of the day and keep you fully informed during the entire process. We didn't use the realtor who helped us buy our house because I couldn't get a response once the deal was done. Petra still cares and isn't just about the check. I highly recommend her if you are selling or buying! She knows the area, she's is great with people and she will always make you feel like you are the top priority.
Petra made the home buying experience so much easier and has excellent knowledge of the buying and selling processes. Her attention to detail with the required documentation was great and she helped in so many ways when something needed to be completed during our work hours. We highly recommend Petra for selling and buying real estate.

Petra went above and beyond our expectations for a real estate agent. She was there 24/7 for us from the listing of our property to a month later when our house sold and even helped us locate a rental property! We recently closed on our new house and I couldn't be happier with everything she has done for us. She works tirelessly for her clients and will provide excellent and dependable service; you will not be disappointed!
I had the pleasure of having Petra thomas as my realitor selling my home. It was a bit
challenging, but Petra did an excellent Job and got my home sold. I would recomment her at anytime time as an excellent realitor.

Marva, yes the sale of your home had its challenges at times but in the end we were able to overcome all the little hurdles and get you to a successful closing. As you know, I'm not someone to throw in the towel when things get a little tough. I was glad I could help you out of a difficult situation. Thank you again!
Sold a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $250K in Northeast Raleigh, Raleigh, NC.
Petra is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. She reponded to ANY question or request within 24 hours or less. We have 4 kids and she was willing to view homes with or without them. She always remained in contact with us and worked around our schedule. We bought 2 years ago in Raleigh after renting in Raleigh for 2 years. The whole family loves our home and neighborhood. The entire purchasing process was a pleasure.
This agent worked quickly. I described the house and specifics I was looking for and she had only this type of house available for me to look at within 24 hours. She was very flexible with her time and worked on behalf of me.

I would just like to take a moment to say that Petra Thomas is an AWESOME Real Estate Broker, she is very honest, patient, compassionate and dedicated to the needs of the buyer/seller. I met Petra in 2005 per my searching for a home to purchase. I will just say that Petra was very patient with me still, after looking at 20 prospects within a short period of time; none of which I liked. The 21st model visited was very nice and when I walked in, I knew it was THE HOUSE for my family. HOWEVER, I disliked the location. In a couple of hours, Petra was able to find another location of town on which the model was being built. We met in at the newly constructed "Braefield" subdivision, the exterior of the two existing desired models were not of my liking. We continued to drive through the sub and there was an end lot for sale on which I had to have. Petra called the builder back to find out if the lot would accommodate my chosen model. It all worked out perfectly & I ended up building my new home customed to my likings!!! Last year, I reached out to Petra again to place my home on the market, which was a very difficult decision for me. Petra was very gentle with me throughout the emotional process on which I sometimes called her in tears! Petra sold my home in March of 2011 & I highly recommend her expertise and professionalism to everyone interested in purchasing & or selling a home.
Our experience with Petra was a good relationship overall. She was both the buying agent for us as well as the selling agent for the homeowners, who were our neighbors. She was a very nice, honest person. She was knowledgable about the process of buying a house, which as first time homebuyers knowing absolutely nothing about buying a house, was very helpful. She guided us step by step through the process and gave us honest advice when we had questions.
We only had one hiccup in our home buying process which involved the selling price of the house. The selling price was based on the total square footage as liveable space. Because of a new law, the upstairs did not meet requirements for liveable space and therefore the selling price was set too high. This was more of a problem for the homeowners than for us, but it delayed the closing process until the problem was resolved. It also involved unexpected expenses for both us and the homeowners, which Petra stepped in to help cover out of her commission. We thought that was a very admirable thing for her to do and made us feel good about doing business with her.
As new homebuyers, we often had questions. Petra was very quick to respond to our emails and calls. Even if she didn't immediately know the answer, she still responded to let us know that she was looking into it. She would keep us updated on how work was progressing on the house and how the closing process was progressing. I found this to be an excellent trait in an agent knowing nothing about buying a house and being excited first time homebuyers. We would recommend Petra Thomas as a good real estate agent for the Raleigh/Knightdale area. Overall, we had a good experience, even with a few hiccups, everything turned out well for us and we bought the home we had loved since we moved into the neighborhood.
