Sold a Townhouse home in 2014 in Poplar-Ludlow-Yorktowne, Philadelphia, PA.
I have known Michelle Ashley for years and she is the hardest working agent I have ever met. She also has the highest ethical standards of any agent I have met. In short she cares about her job to a fault. For Michelle work is personal and she is driven to get the job done right. I would trust Michelle in any kind of business deal. She sweats the details and unlike most agents she is also a highly trained design professional who is constantly called upon by large developers to provide all the finishes, fixtures and the like for their huge projects. She is an expert in rehabbing properties and can answer any "what if" questions regarding changing anything about your property to sell or buy. Just hire her as she is a joy to work with and very highly respected in the community. One of the best!
Bought a Townhouse home in 2014 in Schuylkill Southwest, Philadelphia, PA.
I was connected to Michelle through a friend in the industry - who pre-screened her for me! - and she was as good as promised. She quickly understood my needs as a buyer and was able to work easily with me despite the fact that I was living out of town at the time. When we found the right house for me, Michelle was willing to spend 9-11 PM on a Sunday night (!) seeing the home and putting together an offer the next day. We narrowed avoided a bidding war, and then she guided me through the post-inspection report negotiation with the seller. It all went pretty smoothly, and now as a happy homeowner, I would certainly recommend her to future buyers/sellers!

To Whom It May Concern:
I am very pleased to write this letter about my Realtor; Michelle Ashley.
Right from the beginning Michelle was helpful on how the house needed to look both on the inside and outside of the property. We spent several weeks chipping away on different facets to make the property more sellable. I had a previous realtor who did very little and after six month of less than twenty showings I came across Michelle Ashley. Right from the beginning the showing increased between 12-15 showings a week! The property sold in just over three months with Michele (total showing 114)! During this time any professionals that needed to be brought in for their expertise (such as a PHD Structural Engineer).
During this time Michelle was much more than a real-estate agent. She was there for me as a psychiatrist when I though the property was not going to sell and how/ why you need to stay positive. Michelle also was always there to answer her phone and answer any and all questions that developed over time. Here are just some of the reasons that I recognize Michelle Ashley as your potential agent:
Cognitive Skills and Knowledge
Michele is highly intelligent and very hardworking. Michelle’s level of knowledge always has exceeded my normal expectations about the housing market and the potential buyers. She is highly motivated to learn and retains knowledge quickly and easily on any and all matters in the market place. Her natural tendencies to be self-critical and always inquisitive enhanced her ability to learn and adapt on selling my property. Her knowledge and technical skills are noticeably superior to the previous agent.
Problem Solving and Time Management
Michelle displayed excellent thought formulation and usually solves problems as they arise, quickly and effectively during the time my property was on the market. In dealing with other agents and the inspector, she is caring and sensitive and exhibits a combination of knowledge, confidence, and empathy that quickly gains the other parties attention and respect. Michelle always allocates her time well during the entire time that I went through this process of selling my home.
Behavior and Attitudinal Skills
Michelle is truly a pleasure to be around. She has a strong desire to learn for the purpose of knowledge and becoming a better agent. She always embraced her job and is sure to incorporate her personality and kind demeanor to help her seller. I would always count on Michelle on selling or buying a home based on her high dependability.
Sense of Responsibility
My experience working with Michelle has shown her to be a highly reliable and trustworthy person with a strong sense of responsibility. She never cuts corners; she consults are always thorough, precise, and trusted by those who use them. Michelle is conscientious and disciplined in the way she approaches everything she does, and she always demonstrates herself to be a superior agent.

Michelle Ashley is a very helpful, reliable agent. Her knowledge of the industry is impressive. Thanks to her suggestions regarding getting my house ready to sell, I was able to get full asking price (with her negotiation skills). I have used her services three times and would recommend her to any of my friends.
We had the pleasure of working with Michelle while selling a large industrial building in a soon to be revived section of town. She was always the consummate professional, and became a true friend in the process. In a delicate, difficult and long negotiation, she was ALWAYS ready for the proverbial 3:00 AM call, and never flinched. She has a great talent for seeing the task at hand in a very comprehensive way, and being able to work with all parties to make the path toward completion visible. Michelle is also extremely artistic in her worldview. I couldn't possibly recommend anyone with a higher rating. She was just THERE for us.

I would absolutely recommend Michelle to anybody buying or selling real estate in Philadelphia. She is very patient and knowledgeable, which I needed as a first time home buyer. I truly appreciated her honesty, Michelle did not hesitate to give me her opinion and wasn't afraid to say "this is not for you." She took the time to understand what I was looking for and was willing to view as many properties as was necessary for me to feel comfortable in my decision.
Michelle is extremely responsive and has the rare ability to make you feel like you are her only client. Most of all, I felt I had an advocate throughout the entire process. I ended up buying a new construction property and Michelle was proactive and thorough in dealing with the builder. She knew what questions to ask and he even commented that she was tougher than the home inspectors.
I have already recommended Michelle to others and won't hesitate to work with her again in the future.

Michelle is a gem. She knows her stuff and is a joy to work with. Above all she's a professional, and she's also very quick, funny and warm. In a nutshell: Michelle Ashley is a very smart and authentic person. And if "all of the above" isn't reason enough to chose Michelle, try this: She sold our house for substantially more than every other realtor we interviewed said we could.

Michelle was the agent representing the builder at Carpenter Square when I bought my new home in October last year. I was very pleased with the service I received from Michelle throughout the process. She spent many hours with me in working with the builders, picking out finishes to ensuring I was completely happy with my new home. Even once I closed on my property, Michelle continued to check in and worked as a liaison to the builders. Not sure many agents that would do this. I am now settled in and enjoying my new home at Carpenter Square and working with Michelle made the experience so much more pleasant and easier. I definitely plan to use Michelle as my next agent with any future listing or buying of property!

Michelle is great and I would recommend her to my family, friends, or anyone who is looking to have a positive real estate experience.
I am a skeptical, first-time homebuyer (w/my fiance) who sought a realtor that I could trust. Michelle fit that script. She is responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. Michelle took the time to get to know us and was excited about the opportunity to help us purchase our new home.
Our closing was fast-tracked to occur less than thirty (30) days from the date of the accepted offer (resulting from holiday travel plans). Michelle was excellent in providing personal support and real estate expertise regarding the remaining conditions of our purchase and acted as advocate when needed.
This was a great experience, and I owe it to Michelle.
When my partner and I first talked to Michelle I explained my apprehensiveness of buying a home. I had never bought a home before and this was a huge step for us. Michelle was very patient, explained everything about the home buying process and never made me feel like I was a burden. When it came to looking at homes, Michelle listened to us in terms of price rage, style and location. She meticulously selected only the best homes for viewing, making the process very easy. Any time we wanted to go house hunting she was more than willing to pick us up, explain the neighborhoods history and take hours out of her day to show us around. Because of Michelle my partner and I were able to find, bid and obtain the beautiful home we are in today, at the price we wanted. I will recommend her to everyone.
