Hey Mc! Love the new digs! Who IS that doin' the Stayin' Alive in the doorway though? S/He come w/ the house? lolCongrats to you!
Hello :o) I'm still alive and have been very busy fixing up my overpriced 4 walls and and just LIVING w/out selling. My house is no where near as clean, but it's much bigger and there is less pressure to. I try to tell myself I have a showing, but it doesn't work lolI have too much trouble finding the trouble on these boards now. I haven't been here in a loooong time. TWB sent me today :o) I hope you all are doing swell!
I checked here for YOU Webster! Post either one, I'll check them both later. That was a fun episode! Crazy, but fun.
Joe, I speak to Jennifer, I gave them her number, but I'll try again. Our cousin is his agent and she recommend someone to them. I recommended Jennifer. I haven't "seen" her, but feel free to have her email me privately. They are good to go, but need someone to help navigate. If she can email me some info that would be helpful, it could help me be more persuasive in getting them to contact her. Thanks!
Thanks so much! They are not low-income, so I'm sure they wouldn't qualify. The tax credit is nice, and the closing costs are a good idea too. Thanks so much, feel free to add if you think of anything else!
Seriously, every single one. My bro and sister in law found a house today (in CT) and are ready to buy. They are working w/ a mortgage pro, but I know this is such a smart group (no sarcasm, I'm dead serious) that I would love to hear anything you can add that s/he may not think of/know. Thanks in advance!
I agree w/ just about everything you said J Steinberg. The shelf w/ pegs is a distressed flat, white finish, so I was thinking of mimicking that in the molding, and yes, crown. I don't think I'll be painting the ceiling because it's cheesy :o( Not the idea, the ceiling, lol! The WHOLE HOUSE needs to have the ceilings scraped, but w/ 4 small kids I just can't deal w/ that right now. When we have them done, I'll consider that idea for sure. Thanks for your input!Oh, and yes I Love the chalkboard paint. I did in our old house in the boys bedroom and surrounded it w/ white crown molding. I turned a piece upside down to make a chalk tray. They loved it (playing school and leaves messages to each other). It's very functional for a kitchen too I think.
It's back. I posted that a few answers down. You're not seeing things... I guess they love me. They really, REALLY love me ;o)
LOL Carrie! I thought the same thing! It must be fixed er sumpin' lol
Ummm thanks? Scott? lol jk! I agree though, that green is not for a bedroom. I chose it because it may be my kitchen color w/ white wainscott. I think I will LOVE that. Again, oak trim, doors, floors in the kitchen. The white wainscott would take up 3/4 of the wall approx, so it wouldn't be overpowering green. Also, the kitchen is full of light, so it'll be very bright and cheery :o) Like me :o) lmao
