yes, but technically is his personal opinion OF you, no? I don't agree w/ him, people don't like lawyers, tax collectors, they're afraid of dentists, etc. Being a Realtor is your JOB, it's not all of who you are. He's a loser (and not just a "virtual" one) ignore him!

hate to "burst YOUR bubble" but there's no need for you to continue hijacking this board for your personal platform. There are people here seeking advice and if you'd like to add your advice, fine. I'll listen. But I'd like to hear from others as well and when you get to people personally it just mucks it up for everyone.Since you seem like a smart finance guy, why don't you get back to work? :o)

I need help!
We've had our home listed since June of last year (Oh MY!) We took it off nov thru feb because we had another baby. Our listing w/ our realtor expired and we paid a fee for MLS (and 15 other sites) and FSBO. I have nothing against agents, this is purely a business decision. We lowered the price to include above average commish to the agent that sells the property. We're hoping it will sell at the lower price (P.S., the last agent never wanted to lower the price and that's usually the first tactic to sell, right?)I feel confident in our decision and we're MORE than happy to have an agent sell the home and pay them for their services. We just didn't feel like we needed to pay $10,000 for advertising when we can pay $400.We're hosting an open house on Sunday.... any great ideas?

I don't know where you live, but we found an agency where we pay a flat fee ($400) to have the house listed on the MLS. We had to agree to pay the selling agent between 2 and 3 %.Just an idea

2bdrm w/office VS. 3bdrm

Me TOO! We have a 3BR w/ possible 4th or office. It has French doors and a closet. We had it listed as a 4BR (advice of our realtor) but when we re-listed we listed it as a 3 BR w/ 4th BR or office. It's a terrible location (in my opinion) for a 4th BR even though that's how we use the room.

PODS opinions....
I want to continue packing up to get ready to move and we're considering a POD. How do you all feel about showing a house w/ a POD in the driveway?

No, we can't afford 2 mortgages, so we need to sell first. I stay home w/ 4 kids. There are 270 homes for sale in our town (gasp!) and I would think at this point if you're on the market it's to sell. I don't think people are "testing the market" at this point in time.I guess my question is more appearance oriented. Does it look like garbage or take away signifigantly from curb appeal? Or do you think it's a good sign to buyers?
