Sticker shock! That was the first impression I had when I relocated back to Southern CA. I moved back down after accepting an offer with a start-up, medical company and to be closer to family, but I had no idea that the prices in the South Bay was so expensive! Work was extremely busy and didn't have tons of time to look for a place, but Norm was extremely patient with me. We'd go on multiple trips to look at places when it was convenient for me. After a while, he knew what I was looking for and then he'd only forward listings that he knew I'd be interested in. We eventually found a townhome community that I just fell in love with. The housing market was still at a high, and I didn't get the first place I put an offer on (it was a larger size plan than I really wanted anyway). But when another came up and the floor plan I wanted, Norm helped me put in an aggressive offer, yet still keeping my best interest in mind. The closing process was more hassle than I was used to because every home I had bought before was with my previous company, and they had a generous relocation program making it no-stress for me. So this was my first "close" that I had to do by myself. It was a learning experience, needless to say; but Norm explained everything he was doing and why. He works with a loan agent who really knows his stuff and made it easier for me.

Of course, I chose to sell my townhouse when the housing market took a dive. My company got acquired so I didn't need to be paying so much mortgage to stay in that area anymore. Of course I turned to Norm to help me because of my positive experience with him previously. Norm helped me sell my home, and helped me get the best offer. I was really fortunate that my place retained its value because of its location and how I maintained my home. He absolutely knows how to market a property. I've had 4 other homes I've had to sell previously; and Norm, by far, did more than all my other realtors. He staged my place, had a professional photographer take the most amazing pictures, and really put a strong presence of it on the web. After a few open houses and getting lots of potential buyers to see it on the web, my home was sold!

Norm is the best! If you need a realtor, I highly recommend Norm.
