Renting is a good option and a lot of owners go that route if they are not pleased with the market price. I have a listing appointment tonight with a homeowner and they asked me to do comps for both rental and sales. If you rent the renters will be paying down your mortgage and at the same time the market is going up slowly. It's a good combination. My office is located right next to Neuqua let me know if I can be of any assistance.
Atrain,The first thing i recommend is contact a lender that specializes in lower credit scores. [self promotion deleted by Zillow moderator. Please see our Good Neighbor Policy for posting guidelines]
You might also be responsible for up to six months back dues.
Could you provide an address as an example?
If you "Let it go" that does not mean you don't still owe the bank the money on the note. I would consult with an attorney and get some advice if a bankruptcy is the right option for you. It sounds like you might want to do a short sale to get out of your current home.
newpurchases,I understand the problem. Hopefully you have not entered into a contract with the builder yet. You really need to have a firm handle on what the cost of the home is before you sign on the dotted line. As far as your agent goes the way the process is setup once your agent registers you with the builder and brings you in on the first visit she will get paid a commission. Some agents feel that's all they have to do. I personally don't agree with that and I like to be involved in the whole process. I'm not saying I would be there at every meeting but certainly during the pricing and options stage. If you are not comfortable you should look elsewhere.
Mrs. FapdI would have your agent make the offer you feel comfortible with and see how the builders responds. The worst thing that could happen is they reject your offer. There are plenty of homes on the market and if you really want this one you could always make a counter-offer.I hope this helps...Good Luck!
it is under contract.
