Having been raised, educated, and employed for most of my life right here in Flagstaff I am very passionate about this city.  We are located in one of the premiere locations anywhere in the Southwest.  Clean air, clean water, 4 seasons, mountains, canyons, pine trees, a major university, community college, and a vibrant community of over 60,000 people...what could be better than this.  We are just 2 hours from Phoenix, 4 hours from Las Vegas, 7 hours to Los Angeles, 30 minutes from Sedona, and less than 90 minutes to the Grand Canyon.  We have been heralded as the city of 7 wonders, where you can ski in the morning and play a round of golf in the afternoon.  Hiking can be found everywhere, and there simply isn't anywhere you can live in Flagstaff where you would be more than 10 minutes from the forest.  We get snow in the winter, and our summertime temperatures rarely exceed 90 degrees.  We have low humidity, and 300 days of sunshine a year.  Our economy is more stable than most, our housing prices have not been hit as hard as other areas of the state, and yet our housing affordability is better right now than it has been in a very long time.
