I was very unhappy with her. She obviously knew a lot and used it to her advantage- definitely a seller's realtor, never helped me out as the buyer. As I look back on her "advice", it was pretty much just shady- she always seemed to avoid telling me the truth. I kept persisting that she look into the flood zoning for the house I thought I wanted, yet a month later and 4 times of asking her and her assistant to do that for me, she still kept making excuses as to why she hadn't done it. Eventually I had signed my offer, and spent $300 for inspections and paperwork, just to find out it would be 2,000/year for flood insurance!!! Outraged with what kind of person she turned out to be, I got my earnest $ back and will NEVER return to the greed that is almost at retirement.
Property was in a flood zone and we did not know it. The seller gave us 700 for the flood review and in the end the buyer did not want the property because felt it was unsafe. Couple weeks later sold the property to a doctor who was not concerned about the flood report.
