That's really good news, Debbie. I hope Joan fared no worse than you. She's had enough trouble in her life.Oh, in thinking over my deathbed remark in an earlier post, I can vision Mrs. Rockinblu looking at me while on her deathbed and saying " Gee, I wish I could have spent more time on Facebook." ;-)Hey Dunes, congratulations on keeping the bar open this long. I figured it would have been closed down by now for being a public nuisance due to a petition started by Jon, or some other wacko.Good luck all, and have a terrific year!

Hi Debbie, and thanks. Believe me when I post that when the stuff hit the fan up your way, the first people I thought of were you and Joan. I certainly hope all is well with you, and you as well as your family came out unscathed. At any rate, have a Happy New Year.

Dunes Tavern & Conspiracy Center

Ah, now I remember. I guess I should have made my own link like this. That still doesn't explain how or why in post the address mysteriously got upgraded from an address to a link. Maybe I just hadn't had enough coffee yet, and wasn't seeing right.

Hi all. I sincerely hope everyone is doing well. Mrs. Rockinblu and I are doing terrific....well at least we're still here doing the same old stuff. Except I obviously am not spending as much time online. Somehow I can't picture myself saying to Mrs. Rockinblu as I lay on my deathbed, "Gee, I wish I would have spent more time on Zillow." That being stated, my blog was way, way overdue to be updated. This morning I figured it was as good as time as any to do some edits, and try to post it on Zillow. Initially when I did so, the address didn't come up as a link. My assumption was that hot links are no longer allowed. After getting back from the show (Django Unchained), low and behold my old friend Dunes had, as usual, helped me out. He posted an actual hot link to my blog. Then glancing back at my original post the address there had been somehow upgraded to a hot link. Also, as usual, I'm totally confused.

We have a lovely house for sale.... but it hasn't sold yet.... whatsup?

Answer
Let me preface the following paragraphs by stating that I'm interpreting the homes in question being sold together as a package deal.It looks like a whale of a deal to me, but I'm easy. However, I wouldn't be personally interested. At my age I don't want the responsibility of owning one house, let alone two. It seems as though it's a perfect set up for someone who wants to possibly move up a notch or two and be a landlord, or for that matter downsize and rent out the larger house. The problem being it's just so much easier to keep an existing property, and add one to accomplish the same thing. It seems to me like you're waiting for a buyer who has just came into a windfall that isn't already a homeowner that wants to be a homeowner and a landlord. To me, that describes a very, very small buyer pool. Could be a long wait, and it looks like it already has been. If I have misinterpreted your intentions I apologize, and offer as part of my apology the link below. Good luck, and rock on.http://rockinblu-rockinblu.blogspot.com/2009/02/thinking-about-selling-as-fsbo.htmlOops, it looks like hot links are no longer allowed. Just copy and paste the address into your browser. That is, if you see it before it gets deleted.

how do I add an address not recognized by Zillow?

Answer
If you want to add it to the database now without actually putting it up for sale, you can do a Make Me Move posting. After it appears, if you wish, you can remove the MMM simply by going to "Edit" on the home details page, and clicking on the remove option. However, keep in mind the house's price history will include this price, but as just a MMM price. I have on occasion see posters who were irritated by that get in touch with IceL. who has removed this entry for them. However, no promises on that.

My house is listed in Zillow but is showing up about 6 miles south of its actual location.

Answer
Bad answer by me. Forward the info to your agent as the agent probably has control of the listing.
