You didn't pick exactly the best time of year to list. The showings might be a little scarce, but the good news is that these potential buyers will probably be dead serious. Relax. Worrying about it is not going to change anything. Use the energy to keep the house decluttered, spotless, and available for a showing in a moment's notice. Good luck.
"rockinblu, that's a great article with some great information." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Thanks Shannon. Obviously, I had some great input and along with my plagiarism :) I think it came out OK. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and truly hope that daddyhouse is helped by it.You know if I was a listing agent, I would copy a lot of the text from that blog on my letterhead and leave one behind at any listing interview that I couldn't close on the first visit.
Hey guys,You got sucked into her question/spam. Take a look at her profile. I'm sorry for her loss, but trying to pass oneself off as a newbie to spam is a little much for me.
btcountess,If you're going to appear in the MLS, some of them have in their rules that any yard sign must show a RE agency affiliation. Many of the flat -fee companies provide signs for this reason, and of course just like all the full service ones to advertise themselves. Other than that, you might want to check this company out. I don't know anything personally about them and as far as a sign goes, you may be able to do better locally, and possibly get something for brochures at Home Depot or Lowes, but please don't get your sign there. Since you're doing a FSBO, you may be interested in the blog attached to the link below. Good luck.http://rockinblu-rockinbl ... fsbo.html
Yep, and you can start here. You might be interested in the blog attached to the link below as well.http://rockinblu-rockinblu.blogspot.com/2009/02/thinking-about-doing-fsbo.html
clydesim,I'm not an agent, but I stayed at Holiday Inn Express once and for what they're worth here are my thoughts on the matter.I think most agents will tell you that homes that are hard sold rarely make it all the way through closing, and those that do are problematic afterwards. Agents exist on referrals and they truly want a win-win situation whenever possible.
HybridWolf52,As long as no one knows the association between your screen name, your email, and your real identity other than Zillow, I'm confident that you will not be revealed by anyone as the source of the questions. However, if you live in a town of about 21,000 and have a hybrid wolf, and are selling a house your identity might be somewhat easy to figure out.As far as firing your agent, I would recommend that if you haven't gotten anywhere with your concerns directly with the agent that he/she might not be living up to the marketing promises made to you, or other problems, contact the managing broker and request another agent.
When will i get my first showing?
