lemonade99Thanks, my wife gets all the credit/blame on the house and decorating. Her tastes and mine differ, but I hope to get my way this time around. We hope to move to Austin ,Tx. to an apartment in the SOCO (South Congress) area. Very eclectic and hip area just about 2-3 blocks from the Continental Club as well being close to Towne Lake.Given the tough price comps from homes that really don't compare, I am pessimistic about this really happening. We are only listing to the end of Sept.
Marci Reinheimer:What is the additional charge to be listed as a showcase home on Realtor.com using the VT from my own local listing? My agent tried to tell me that it was just a luck of the draw thing to be listed that way. I am not THATstupid.
scomeyThat's the same time frame I have been running my ezad. Just renewed for a 3rd month. Earlier I said that we had not received any responses. Well my wife corrected me (imagine that), at an owners open house we had, she reminded me that a neighborhood nosey said she saw our Zillow posting.
ryjeor posted a suggestion of being there to help show the home, when an agent who is unfamiliar with the home, brings a prospective buyer. I was hoping some agents would reply. Since none has, I am asking in a direct manner. Should the owner be there or not?
CarrieR:My question wasn't referring to my listing agent, but buyer's agents visiting the home for the first time, with a client who has just seen the home online. In these cases my agent is nowhere around. Does your answer still apply?
Why bring up the hurricane problem right off the bat in your home details? I would save that for last, if I would mention it at all. Geez, your in Florida, I think everybody knows about that issue and they don't have to be reminded of it. The advantages of the shutters are great I am sure, but put the info some where else. Just a suggestion.
