AlmayIt might, however people overlook the obvious all the time, and don't realize that for someone else their number could be hard to see. I am not proposing that someone try to memorize that number at 40 miles an hour. I am assuming they have brakes, and I know very few ladies if any, that don't carry a pencil or pen. If I were doing drive by shopping, a pen and paper would be sop. Don, "drhody"I also agree with Tabby73 about looking up your own house on the mls just to make sure that the info listed is correct. I am surprised that your FSBO people did not send you a link to it to check it out.
heyharris1There is a shot of the kitchen. I particularly like the lattice work border. But seriously, I think the home looks great and is an awesome value. I am sure the kitchen photo got lost in the shuffle, and will be uploaded soon. Right?
I agree totally with Almay on the photos. We did the same kind of shots with a good digital, and they still just don't properly convey. If we don't sell in 30 days or so, we are going to relist in Feb. and have the photos done as Almay suggests. If the house is re-shot lose the hose on the front and pick a time of day, if possible, when the shadow of the fence is not cast on the driveway as noticeably. Also, see if the Coldwell guy would consent to pulling the sign out for the shots.
Don, "drhody"I am glad to see that you followed through on the number issue already. Thanks so much for your kind words on the home. My wife certainly gets all the credit for the interior look. I have zero decorating savvy. Best wishes for an easy and quick completion of your home sale.
needtosell1I think your place looks terrific. I am truly sorry for you that you need to sell it. Your photos look great and the panoramic shots are exceptionally cool.I really don't have any constructional criticism to offer other than if the bar is a wet bar, I would include that in the info. Best of luck.
needtosell1I am thanking for your kind words for both my wife and myself. She gets all the credit/blame for the decorating. My taste runs along the line of your decorating. We live on the Illinois side of the St. Louis area in a small college community of Edwardsville-Glen Carbon. I don't think we have got caught up in the bubble as badly as the much hotter areas. The houses around here are still reasonably good values, and have not suffered any abnormal appreciation or depreciation. Our problem is that we probably over improved for the neighborhood, and the price is influenced by comps that really don't compare.
