Ron Parks started the Vision Group in order give clients the service that the market demands. The group is comprised of specialists with many disciplines ( photography, staging, interior design, finance ) who work as a team to service the needs of the ever changing market for buyers and sellers. Ron is a Board of Director of the Marin Association of Realtors and BAREIS, the organization that monitors and controls the multiple listing service in Marin.
Ron has been a businessman in the SF Bay area since 1980. After spending 10 years in the accounting and management consulting practice of Ernst & Young and receiving his CPA license, Ron spent the last 12 years at various early-stage and late-stage software companies in financial executive roles. His business acumen, attention to financial detail and his negotiating and transaction skills readily lend themselves to the real estate business. Ron is a dedicated partner with his clients and has the ability to manage through complex transactions and bring the proper perspective as to outcomes.
Ron has been instrumental in creating innovative marketing and client service programs, both traditional and internet based, which facilitate the marketing of properties (The Seller Advantage Program™) and the Buying of Property (The Buyers Advantage Program™) and Real Estate Advisory services (The Advisory Services Program™).Civic Interests
Ron is a member of the Board of Directors of the Glide Economic Development Corporation (GEDC) and also sits on the Finance and Real Estate Acquisition Committee. GEDC serves as the community economic development engine for the tenderloin which is driven by a public-private partnership. Ronald also serves on the board of the Tom Steele Clinic in Mill Valley, a project of the Tides Center. The clinic’s mission is to provide comprehensive medical care, prevention services, healthcare maintenance, advocacy and education for the people and their families, living with HIV in Marin.Memberships
