Rosie is the wife of my friend and colleague whom I have known for years. I had met her on a few social occasions and knew she was a realtor. In talking with her during our occasional social meetings i realized that she was sharp and determined, qualities that you would certainly want in a realtor. So when my wife and I decided to buy a couple of homes we asked Rosie to be our realtor. I figured getting to know someone when they weren't trying to get your business was an advantage versus talking for a few minutes to realtors you happen to meet at open houses. Rosie did a great job for us. We were involved in a 1031 exchange and had a time limit to find the replacement properties. She scoured the market, and found homes that were the type we were looking for, in good neighborhoods, and in our price range. During the process of viewing homes she demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of the housing market and was adept at pointing out things to look for to help ensure that we were getting a solid, well maintained house. Since I had not purchased a home in many years, she educated me, in a very tactful way, on how the current market functioned with multiple bids being commonplace. The end result was that we met our time frame for the exchange, bought two excellent houses and had a great experience in working with Rosie. I would highly recommend her to my friends.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $1.025M in Merriwood, Oakland, CA.

Rosie came highly recommended by our financial planners. When my husband met her, he was sold. Then I got to meet her and felt the same way. Fast forward to prepping our house for sale. She had incredibly good advice for what was worth investing in and what was not. Rosie has very helpful contacts for prepping the house but the stager she selected sealed the deal. Then, when we were ready to list, Rosie showed her intuitive expertise in understanding the marketplace. She did not promise a thing but set us up for success. The 3D virtual tour technology she used was fabulous too. Then we waited to see what the market would bear. We were very fortunate to recover our investment in prepping our house and then quite a bit more. If you are looking for a realtor, RUN, don't walk, to Rosie.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $625K in Redwood Heights, Oakland, CA.

I highly recommend Rosie Nysaether as real estate agent for the Oakland area. As our seller’s agent, Rosie recommended reputable area vendors for repairs, painting, inspections, and staging. Her efforts helped us increase value, get good market exposure, and move the the house quickly. She asked and listened to what mattered to us for the sale. And Rosie was great at helping us deal with the unusual things that can come up when prepping a 1920s era house that needed updates for sale. Conscientious, market-savvy, tenacious, professional, and a host of other words that made Rosie a great agent for us!

Bought a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $1.0M in Glenview, Oakland, CA.

Top notch, very personal service, extremely knowledgeable about the East Bay. Rosie was GREAT to work with! She helped us find our first home in the East Bay in March 2015 and we couldn't be happier. We knew from the first time we met Rosie, that she was the perfect realtor for us. She is very knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods, and has great relationships with other realtors. Rosie is very responsive via email, phone, and text and accommodated our schedules for any showings. She provided us with guidance throughout the whole process and kept us at ease the whole time. Always wiling to show us the pros and cons of a house and point out things that we weren't even thinking of. We made strong offers on 5 houses in this market. All 5 houses, including the one we eventually purchased, had multiple offers (most over 10 offers). What impressed us most when it came down to making an offer was Rosie's personal touch when presenting our offer - always in person and able to tell our story to the sellers because she knew us so well. In the end, her personal touch is what helped us get the house...not the highest offer.

Sold a Single Family home in 2015 for approximately $675K in Oakmore, Oakland, CA.

I cannot say enough good things about Rosie. She guided us from start to finish. Teaching us how to get our house ready for sale and handling so much for us while we were out of state. She helped us find amazing contractors and even picked out the perfect paint colors. I never thought a real estate agent could do so much for us and I am so happy to have worked with her. If you are considering selling your home she will walk you through each step and help you in so many ways. She will make thing so much easier even if you aren't ready to sell and are just thinking about it for the future. She is absolutely the best.

Bought a home in 2014 in Alameda, CA 94501.

Buying a home with Rosie is such an enjoyable life event- and it should be, because buying a home is a BIG deal!

Rosie helped us find our starter home 6 years ago, it was such an enjoyable experience. Rosie listens to our likes/dislikes, she can tell us frankly if a home has potential or not, and she has a wealth of knowledge about the bay area market and communities. She knows the ins and outs of the home buying process and takes the initiative to move it along when needed. She practically held our hands every step of the way, relieving our anxiety with her support. The offer/closing/escrow process can leave most people biting their nails!

When we were considering going back into the market this year, we called upon Rosie and started the process all over again. She helped us to build the vision of our next home based on our preferences/needs/wants and as a result we found our "IT" home that we will be raising our family in for the next 20 years.

We respect Rosie's knowledge and experience in this industry and we find ourselves in touch with her frequently with home design questions. I wish I had enough money to buy a home with Rosie every few years.

Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $550K in Richmond, CA.

Rosie helped us buy our first home in the Bay Area. Coming from MN the market is a lot different, and Rosie was very savvy about the whole East Bay market.

We closed on our house in Richmond Heights and it was 100% due to Rosie's responsiveness and tenacity. Rosie reacted quickly to make the deal happen.

From start to finish, working with Rosie was great. She helped us overcome a number of challenges throughout the process and was equal parts realtor and even counselor. Can't thank her enough for getting us into our home.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $425K in Prescott, Oakland, CA.

The time had come for us to sell our 1889 Victorian, and we were filled with anxiety. Then Rosie arrived, and like Mary Poppins, everything started to flow smoothly.

I'm not going to pretend that selling the house was an easy endeavor, but Rosie kept us moving forward. She was very clear on the process and communicated in a way that was calming and honest. I immediately felt at ease and trusted her. This is no small thing. I'm a disabled veteran with PTSD, and yet, my anxiety level was fine. Somehow I just knew that she was taking good care of us. I never once doubted her.

Her advice was invaluable and we tried to follow it to a tee. Needless to say, selling our house was smooth sailing. Her recommendations for stagers, photographers, pest inspector, and the various other agents involved were great. I felt very safe with them in my home, and they all performed well. The house looked beautiful.

We did two open houses, took offers, and accepted one. Again, Rosie's expertise on the offers was spot on. We had such a short closing, that before I knew it, the house was sold and the money was in the bank. There was not one issue. I wish I could give Rosie a million red stars. She is truly exceptional. So much so that I will always call on her in the future for all of my real estate needs, as well as recommend her to my friends.

Sold a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $875K in Piedmont Pines, Oakland, CA.

We couldn't have been any more thrilled with Rosie's work selling our house. Saying she over-delivered is an understatement.

From our first interaction with her, she was professional, helpful, thoughtful and extremely sharp. We spoke to a few other agents, but knew she would do the best job.

Throughout the selling process, she was readily available whenever we had questions, she was hands-on with helping get the house ready (even potting plants and touching up walls), and she ensured that any bumps along the way were minimized for us. Selling a home can be stressful, but Rosie made it more seamless than we could have hoped for.

In the end, and most importantly, she truly delivered stellar results. Everything she does is of the highest quality. Even the buyers commented that she was by far the most friendly, knowledgeable and likable agent that they had come across in their search for a home.

I would recommend Rosie to anyone, knowing that they would be in the best hands and be blown away by the results she delivers.

Bought a home in 2014 in Redwood Heights, Oakland, CA 94619.

My husband and I had a fantastic home-buying experience with Rosie! We needed to buy a house on a tight timeline and from a distance (East Coast), and Rosie hit the ground running. She visited each of the homes in which we were interested, offered thorough and honest feedback (i.e., the presence of pylons near the home, structural defects, etc.), sent us disclosure packets via email, and spent a great deal of time discussing the homes with us over the phone. When it came time to make an offer on the house we picked, she shared with us insider details about the buying process in Oakland, and came up with a strategy we were comfortable with. It worked! Although there were eight (8) offers on the house we picked, Rosie crafted our winning bid. We could not have been in more competent hands.

We recommend Rosie, wholeheartedly, and would definitely turn to her when the time comes to sell our home (with any hope, a long time from now!).
