What we do
Flat Fee MLS—alternative to for sale by owner or traditional real estate. FlatLand Homes is a hybrid company that gives new flexibility to listing real property. Instead of the traditional listing fee of (typically) 2.5% to 3%, we charge a flat fee of $299 (this is a Limited Time Price offer)
In exchange for that fee included are the following (not an ala carte program)
· Listing on the MRED formerly MLSNI ans MAP– up to 7 photos
· Advertising on www.realtor.com, www.chicagotribune.com and www.flatlandhomes.com, and many other local realtor’s websites through IDX
· Digital photos of the home
· Use of a SentriLock lockbox (remains property of Flatland Homes)
· Yard sign – professionally designed 30” by 24” steel gauge on post (remains property of Flatland Homes)
· Comparative market analysis
· Printable property data sheets
· Unique MLS ID number - log in information to track activity on MRED· Personal visit to home by broker for explanation of necessary paperwork, take pictures, measure room
· Unlimited open house announcements on MRED & www.realtor.com
· In accordance with Illinois state law, FlatLand Homes, LLC will upon seller's request:
1) Accept delivery of and present to the client all offers and counteroffers to buy, sell or lease the client’s property or the property the client seeks to purchase or lease;
2) Assist the client in developing, communicating, negotiating, and presenting offers, counteroffers and notices that relate to the offers and counteroffers until a lease or purchase agreement is signed and all contingencies are satisfied or waived; and
3) Answer the client’s questions relating to the offers, counteroffers, notices and contingencies.
