Bought a Single Family home in 2011 in Gardiner, ME.Summary:
This is one real estate story with a truly happy ending. Working with Sam Armentrout was really rewarding - we miss the house hunting and if we could, we'd just go riding around with her. She was smart, a quick study and lots of fun. We saw houses in clusters as we didn't live in Maine and needed to see houses on weekends and vacations. She was always accommodating, fitting us into her schedule of open houses and other clients. Sam made things clear for us when we were confused and helped talk through options when we weren't certain about some properties. Eventually we did find a gem of a house in a small river town in Maine. The mortgage process was smooth (found our lender through Sam), the inspection thorough (again, Sam) and the closing was much easier than any other I've been part of. Would we recommend Sam to others? Absolutely, in a heartbeat! She was genuinely committed to our satisfaction and worked tirelessly for almost a year to see that we found a house we would love.
