Stefan expertly showed us around Marin County and San Francisco city. He was very thorough in his explanations of areas, highway access, neighborhood pros and cons. He’s also very knowledgeable about house construction. The long rides around the city were a lot more interesting with his entertaining and funny anecdotes-and his passion for classical music was infectious as well! I wish he could sell our house that’s in another state!

We sold and bought homes with Stefan and were so pleased with the entire experience. Stefan is real professional who clearly cares about his clients. Although it was at the low end of the local market, Stefan gave it his all from beginning to end, and brought in multiple offers. He worked hard for us and moved the house quickly in a slow market for more than our asking price.
On the purchasing end, Stefan took time understood our hopes, needs, and budget, and helped us find a great new home. He guided us through the short sale process with optimism and confidence. We always knew that he was negotiating with our best interests in mind. We really appreciated his experience as a builder; his eye for a quality property was invaluable. Sold a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $200K in Clawson, Oakland, CA.
After two failed attempts to get a loan modification from my lender, I was pretty worn out, disillusioned, and ready to give in to a foreclosure. A friend recommended Stefan to me for his short-sale expertise. I had reservations at first because Stefan is based in Marin County and my home was located in the East Bay. However, after our first meeting, I realized that I was very fortunate to have found Stefan. It was evident that he was not only interested in making a sale, but also interested in what would happen to me after the sale. We first looked over my financial situation together. He advised me on the options available to me and why a short sale was really my best option. Before listing my property, he researched other realtors selling in my area to make sure that he was the best realtor for the job. He also researched local real estate activity to make sure that no properties comparable to mine were in foreclosure or at risk of going into foreclosure.
Stefan was there at each step of the short-sale process. He provided sample letters for me to send to my lender. When he didn't have the authority to advise in certain legal areas, he gave good recommendations for legal counsel. He also sent listings for rental properties in the area. My sale was a difficult one because, in addition to my home being underwater, there was a significant lien against the property. However, Stefan always kept a positive attitude towards the sale and was confident that he could negotitate with the lien-holder. It took a year and two short-sale applications to the lender, but in the end, Stefan was right. He found an all-cash buyer for my home that probably helped convince the lender to approve the sale. Thanks Stefan!!!
P.S. I was also able to sign the disclosure documents electronically. A real plus for a woman on-the-go!
