Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $775K in Century City, Los Angeles, CA.
I had been a renter for 2 decades and this was my first home. I was a little overwhelmed by the process and Scott was fantastic across the board. His years of experience were invaluable to me. He kept me at ease by making sure I was informed, answered questions I didn't even know I had to ask and explained at length every page to be signed and issue to be handled. Even now, six months after closing, I know I can call Scott with questions as a first time homeowner and feel confident he will steer me in the right direction. I recommend Scott very highly.
Bought a Condo home in 2006 for approximately $1.0M in West Hollywood, CA.
I think Scott is fantastic. I have worked with him twice and recommended him to friends. He makes you feel very comfortable and knows real estate, the market and the city extremely well. He is always very quick to respond (even to my amateur questions!) and always has your best interest in mind. Huge fan!
Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $10.525M in Beverly Hills, CA.
What I loved about working with Scott was that he had real opinions -- and terrific taste to go with them -- and was willing to say what he felt. I had never wanted to live in the Flats of BH, but he told me about a house he was sure my wife and I would like. I said no, but he pushed. He was right and we wound up buying it!
Scott is a pleasure to deal with: honest, there when you need him, looking at the big picture and understanding what really matters to his clients. A real pro.
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $1.05M in Mid City West, Los Angeles, CA.
When I was looking for my first house, I spoke to many real estate agents, but Scott Cort was the only agent I felt comfortable dealing with. I had a wide range of interests and neighborhoods, which meant Scott had to visit many houses in a variety of locations with me. He did this with energy and interest, never getting frustrated and always being supportive. Scott was, and still is, an excellent resource, and I particularly valued his knowledge, honesty and straightforwardness; he was unafraid to express his opinions. Perhaps what I liked the most about my dealings with Scott was that while he was always professional (he's been in the biz for a while), he also was relaxed and clearly in his element, which kept me relaxed. Making an offer on a first home is extremely stressful, but somehow working with him added some fun to the process. I am a real client of Scott's and to this day, from time to time, I still call him with questions about my house -- and he answers them!
Sold a Condo home in 2011 for approximately $525K in Century City, Los Angeles, CA.
Scott was amazing during every aspect of our housing search, negotiations, and closing. Scott walked us through ever step of our purchase, through inspections and escrow. When it came time for us to sell several years later, Scott listed our condo and sold it quickly. Scott and his team were very responsive, kind, knowledgable, and helpful throughout the process. Couldn't recommend him more.
