Ratings & Reviews

I was referred to Marina through the USAA Home Circle/Home Buyers program. As a first time buyer, the process was was a bit daunting, but she was really helpful throughout the process. She was attentive and communicative and really let me set my own pace - but also let me know when timely decisions or actions would be beneficial.

During the search, she took my feedback on properties I saw & used that to further fine-tune the list of homes I went to see. She answered my myriad questions, patiently guided me through my "must haves" and "nice to haves" to find a property that was the right fit for me. When I decided to jump on a short sale property, she helped set my expectations and was a real godsend when it came to navigating those crazy waters.

Once I closed, she was at the ready with referrals for service providers that could help me put my personal stamp on my first home. I've referred her more than once already and look forward to working with her again in the future.

Bought a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $400K in Mid City, Los Angeles, CA.

Marina was fantastic in guiding us through the process -- as first time homebuyers, we had a ton of questions and Marina was very helpful in answering them all.

She also was very patient with us, as we were considering homes anywhere close to the 101, 10 and 405. So, we had a wide swath from which to choose and made her drive a number of miles in showing us places all over town.

The first place on which we made an offer we were way too late to the game. The second place we were very early and it was accepted almost immediately. I sometimes wonder if we paid more than needed, but ultimately we love the house and the value has already overtaken our original price paid. So, it all worked out.

Bought a Condo home in 2012 for approximately $125K in Torrance, CA.

I needed to purchase a property in South Bay. Marina was available every time I needed help or I had a question. She helped me to buy at a very favorable price and quickly closed the deal. After I moved in she went out of her way to find me the refrigerator I needed. She is professional and easy to work with. I would recommend Marina Tourney.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 for approximately $650K in Venice, Venice, CA.

It took me quite some time to find the right home and in my price range on the beach which was no small task. I had issues with financing and she was able to get me hooked up with someone that go things done. I was also trying to purchase from out of state which is normally very difficult. She made the process as painless as possible. I would recommend Marina to anyone looking to purchase a home. She is kind, thorough and professional.

Sold a home in 2009 in Atwood, Placentia, CA 92870.

Marina is a pleasure to work with. She has extensive market knowledge, does her research, and is always available when you need her. As a mortgage professional, Marina and I have had several mutual clients and they've always received excellent service from her. If you want a realtor that listens to your needs, goes above and beyond, and gets your deal closed, Marina Tourney should be your first phone call.
