Seth was an absolute pleasure to work with and provided us expert guidance in buying our first home. The breadth of his experience in the Westchester market was very evident as we started our search over many different towns in both northern and southern Westchester. Seth took the time to guide us to towns that suited our needs and always kept an eye out for new properties that we might be interested in. As we focused our search more, he was invaluable in helping us compare properties that we were interested in and evaluate the pros and cons of each. Seth had a great sense of our price range and was realistic and honest in his assessment of our options.
When we found a house that we liked, Seth skillfully negotiated and advocated for our interests in a way that was firm, professional and practical. Throughout the process, he was always extremely responsive to us and helped follow up as needed with the various parties in the transaction. Although our purchase was quite smooth, Seth showed a willingness to address any issues quickly and protect our interests, right up until the closing day. I would highly recommend Seth not only for the reasons above, but also because he's friendly, approachable and great to work with.
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $775K in Hartsdale, NY.
Seth was amazing to work with! We did not know the Westchester area and were not sure where to settle down. He took us on three different tours of various towns to show us around...before we started shopping for a home! He helped us narrow down the areas we wanted to live. He was very patient with us and was never pushy at all! He was also very responsive..if he was not available when we called, he would call back shortly thereafter. He even had a baby during our search together and made sure he set up his colleagues to assist with showing homes. We would definitely recommend Seth to anyone and you should use him!!
Seth was very knowledgeable about the comps in my neighborhood. He readily brought prospective buyers to my home and sold my house after 4 days of being on the market. I can't comment on his negotiating skills because there was no negotiation of price since I received my asking price immediately.
Seth was always responsive to phone calls, texts or emails. He was there for me at all times. Not only was he kind, personable and attentive, but always professional.
We worked with a few brokers in Westchester looking at apartments over a long period and Seth was by far the most responsive and the most attentive to what we were looking for. He was always more than willing to setup last minute appointments at random times on evenings and weekends all throughout the county for us, which we definitely appreciated given our hectic schedules. He also gave us a great recommendation for a lawyer to use once we decided to purchase a short-sale and needed someone who knew that terrain well.
Seth was very patient with us (even when we were being very indecisive) and very thorough to the end. He was very hard-working and accommodating of our schedules and needs. He was honest in giving us his opinions but wasn't pushy with his recommendations. All around a great and trust-worthy realtor to work with.
Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $1.85M in Scarsdale, NY.
Seth knows Westchester County as well as anyone, having grown up there and lived there his entire life. Seth's patient -- showing he really wanted to fully understand our needs/wants -- and smart, so he anticipated what would attract us in a new home even if we didn't know that ourselves.
In terms of process, NYS is pretty codified but Seth was more than capable in explaining each step thoroughly. A trusted guide in all respects.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 for approximately $650K in Scarsdale, NY.
Seth is a young, local broker. He is a gentleman and quite patient. He and his colleagues mounted a quick campaign to sell our home and we had a serious bid in three weeks.
Seth was always available to us, and he seemed concerned about our concerns. The sale hit some snags because of buyer inexperience and possible dishonesty on the part of their broker. After many months of waiting the closing came off without a hitch.
Part of the frustration in 2011 is the behavior of banks. This is not the fault of the brokers. Everyone tries hard to bring a sale to closure, but the banks manage to disrupt normal practices and business. This does not make it easy for the seller or buyer. I was quite a grumpy client from time to time.
However, Seth was a prince. He is tied in to the young community of Manhattan, most of which is getting ready to expand their living space. He has a good relationship with local brokers and multiple listing works well, too. If you are looking for a young eager broker and firm, try Seth.
Showed home in 2008 in Ossining, New Castle, NY 10562.
Seth is patient, thoughtful and very knowledgeadble. My wife and I both felt that he had our interest at heart rather than a business relationship. He quickly figured out our needs and work to satisfy them but also showed us options that we did not consider but were appropriate for us. Great guy.
