Bought a home in 2013.
Shawn dedicated a lot of time to helping us and was extremely accommodating. He answered all of our questions and was available any time we needed him. To be honest I was very hesitant to select an agent but I would recommend Shawn in a heartbeat! He made buying a house very easy for us!

Showed home in 2012 in Banksville, Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
As a first time home buyer, I discovered that Shawn is an amazing resource. When I contacted him after having an extremely bad experience with a prior agency, he eased my mind and helped me understand the process. My prior agency made me feel like I only had one option – FHA – Then Shawn took a look at my info. After he ran my numbers – he showed me that I did have more options than my current agent had given me.
Shawn is extremely knowledgeable with all areas of real estate – from looking into properties for his clients to making sure you get the best deal for your money.
I would absolutely recommend Shawn to family, friends or anyone that mentioned buying or selling a home.

Bought a Single Family home in 2008 for approximately $75K in Ambridge, PA.
When I returned to Pennsylvania after retiring, I decided purchasing was more frugal than renting, as I had done in Florida.
Shawn was introduced to me by my sister, and I quickly learned how informed and aggressive Shawn was in helping me locate a home. My search was a little unorthodox, in as much as I would find homes while traveling the area and suggestions from both my sister and brother-in-law would send our search through several different communities. Shawn never wavered a moment and we were off looking at homes, and after several weeks a house was found to satisfy my wants and needs.
From this point it was all Shawn, doing the required legal filings and finally closing on my house in less time than I thought possible. It has been a real pleasure working with Shawn and I am pleased to say I have become friends with Shawn and his wife, Kim.
Oh, and I still owe him the stuffed peppers I promised my brother-in-law would make for him.

Listed, but didn't sell my Single Family home in 2012 in Monroeville, PA.
Shawn Hannegan is the ultimate professional. Having rated Shawn highest in each category could bring about the impression that thought wasn't given to this review, but that is far from the case. Although no one is absolutely perfect, thinking back to my professional dealings with Shawn, there is nothing that I wish he would have done differently. Shawn is gracious, courteous and polite. He dealt with my many questions patiently and responded quickly. He is very knowledgeable about the local sales and finance market, and was quick to secure information that he didn't know or have readily available. I was thoroughly impressed by his negotiation skills, working diligently with my interests in mind, and although the sale of my house didn't take place as originally planned, I will absolutely intend to call on Shawn again in the future when his expertise and services are needed.
