Sheryl helped my husband and I find our first single family home in 2011. From the moment we met Sheryl, we knew we were in the best possible hands. Her energy is contagious and her extensive knowledge is evident -- she knows all there is to know about the Chicagoland area's market, neighborhoods and "diamond in the rough" properties. She made the house hunting process enjoyable (fun, even!) and was patient with us throughout the entire search. She is beyond dedicated to her clients and finding them the perfect home. I recommend Sheryl to everyone- can't sing her praises enough.

Sheryl is a professional and a go-getter. I've known Sheryl professionally for several years now and she knows the market, knows real estate, and knows how to get a house bought or sold. I highly recommend her.

Sheryl is the best realtor I have had the pleasure of working with. She is highly experienced, very knowledgeable and dedicated to her profession.
Sheryl helped to find the perfect home for me and my family, and worked very hard to make things happen, from beginning to end. She was reliable, and always available for questions or issues that arose. She treated my family as her own, and has been there to help with issues even after closing on my new home.
I highly recommend Sheryl to anyone in need of a realtor. She is tops in her field, and dedicates herself to her clients, no matter how big or small their price range.

When my husband and I began our search for our first house our close friends referred us to Sheryl giving her raving reviews. Excitedly we got in contact with Sheryl with high hopes that she'd be able to help us find a great place at our rather limited price point (with my husband's parents co-signing we were looking at a $100,000 max).
She sent us several listings to take a look at, many of which were out of our price range, but we were able to narrow it down to a short list of houses we were interested in seeing. This is where the issues began. Once we agreed to a day and time to meet it took an email, and three phone calls to FINALLY figure out WHERE we were meeting.
Upon arriving at the first house we were rushed through, not given adequate time to look around and try to really see ourselves living there. Same goes for the second house (I didn't even see the bathroom). But the third house seemed like a real winner! We were really excited to possibly put an offer in once Sheryl asked the sellers about what looked like water damage in the ceiling of one of the bedrooms. But after a day went by we didn't hear from her, I went to the listings she had sent us via the MLS system and found that the house had been bought from under us. While we understand that this sort of a thing happens when searching for a home we were upset that she never followed through with us.
A day later we got word from my husband's parents that they were not going to co-sign with us after all. Which meant we could only really qualify for around $70,000. We emailed Sheryl with this new information and asked to expand our search to include several other cities. I also went online and searched for houses on a real-estate website and found several properties we were interested in seeing. I compiled a list of all the properties along with the phone numbers of the agents representing those properties. Sheryl sent me back an email stating that my husband and I should go and take a look at the outside of the properties and then let her know which ones we wanted to see the inside of.
We thought that was a little weird but took her advice and took a look at the outside of a few places. We ended up finding one we REALLY liked and called Sheryl while still in the drive way and got her voice-mail. We told her we were really interested in this house and really wanted to put an offer in. WE NEVER GOT A CALL BACK! She completely wrote us off! I don't know if it was because she wasn't going to get much of a commission off of us or what but this was completely unprofessional.
We would NEVER recommend Sheryl Marsella. Maybe you'll have better luck but only if you have deep pockets.
