Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $75K in Frederick, MD.
You might not find a direr situation than my own. Before I met Samer Kuraishi of A-K Real Estate, I had negative equity in an Investment Property, a LOT of land,

that had a fair market value of at least $210,000 LESS than my Loan Amount. In other words I:
- was Facing Foreclosure
- was Facing a Deficiency Judgment of $210,000+ upon Short Sale or Foreclosure.
- owned Property difficult to sell, a LOT of land.
- had a Lender that was uncooperative and wouldn't accept reasonable offers
Samer Kuraishi’s knowledge, ability, and hard work ethic has significantly contributed to my family’s long-term financial stability. Samer was successfully able to:
(1) Complete a Short Sale of my investment property
and
(2) Help me avoid a DEFICIENCY JUDGMENT by NEGOTIATING with my lender on my behalf. I was relieved of over $210,000 of debt owed to my lender and avoided a “foreclosure” on my credit. At closing I was reviewing the closing docs and to my amazement, the lender signed an agreement to not pursue a deficiency judgment. Unbelievable this was pulled off! This means now I can qualify for college tuition loans for my children, keep my security clearance, qualify to buy a home next year (opposed to waiting 7 yrs if I foreclosed), and most importantly, be DEBT FREE.
I contacted Samer Kuraishi less than 6 months ago to assist with the short sale of my Investment Property, which was a Lot (Land). In 2010 and 2011, I worked with 3 other mainstream realtors, each with 20+ years of experience and a specialization in short sales. They were unsuccessful in attempts to attract any offers. Within 1 month of working with Samer I had an offer, and now, just 3 months later, the bane of my existence, my Investment Property, was sold and I avoided a Deficiency Judgment. WHAT A RELIEF! There are a lot of great real estate agents and realtors out there but very few have the special ability to NEGOTIATE. The buyer of my property was a cash investor in bank owned short sale properties whom had known Samer for a long time, one of many that I assume is a result of A-K Real Estate’s reputation for premium service. Just awesome! Enthusiastic, friendly, expert, go-getter, responsive, passionate, and a clear vision – the first few words that come to my mind as I’m writing my review for Sam. For a first time home buyer and someone that worries about things even when there is nothing to worry about, my mind was always at ease working with Sam. Any questions I had were answered in a matter of minutes. Honestly, in the two years working with Sam to find the perfect place for me I never waited any longer than 5 minutes for a response to an email or a phone call, it’s bizarre really! No where do you find that level of customer service these days. You literally feel like you are the only person he is working with to help find a home, when clearly, that is not the case. If you use Sam and his team you will not be disappointed, actually, you will likely feel more at ease knowing that he is working for you. Sold a Townhouse home in 2013 in Montgomery Village, MD.
Excellent service in handling the selling of my Mother's home in Montgomery Village, MD. Very prompt response to any questions I had, always had a solution to the issues that came up. Uses technology to complete the transaction, made it very easy and convenient to get the paperwork done. From start to finish, he was extremely professional and competent, I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Rockville, MD.
I was a first time home buyer and couldn't have asked for a better agent. After having tried another agent at a different real estate company and not getting anywhere with my home search I was referred to Samer through a friend. Samer was quick to respond to any questions I had, which were a lot and also helped me navigate the short sale process. When the short sale was in jeopardy of falling apart due to the seller's settlement company he worked it all out within hours and I was able to close on the property when scheduled and not come out of pocket any additional money.

Sold a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $350K in Washington, DC.
Samer provided excellent service from the very first phone call I made to him. He quickly grasped all the factors that we could work to our benefit, and created a strategy for any negative contingencies that may pop up. Expecting the unexpected as he did allowed us to remain focused during some critical moments in our negotiation and deal.

Found a tenant for a Townhouse home in Alexandria, VA.
I found Samer K. on zillow in a desparate situation to rent my beautiful townhome. I am soooo glad I went with Sam and his company. They came to my house within days of contacting him to view the property, got it listed and "wa-la" it was rented in the first few times of showing it. Sam really know how to market a property and deals well with the real estate professionals on your behalf. He knew what to look for and ensured that I knew what to expect. He knew the process from the word "go" and made it so unbelieveable smooth. I know who I will go to in the future for a rental or a sale!!!

Bought a home in 2013.
We purchased a high-end CO-OP in DC through A-K Real Estate and they did an outstanding job. Agent Max Grangien went "above and beyond" to make our deal happen through some very difficult negotiations. Their whole attitude is about customer service and it shows in their successful results. Max is a great listener and devised an effective strategy for looking at the kinds of properties we really were interested in and in the areas we really love. He did not pressure us into buying just any property and was very generous in sharing his expertise with frank, insightful assessments of the properties we considered. Mr Grangien and A-K are a smart, knowledgeable, experienced and extraordinarily hard working agent and firm. Most importantly, they deal with integrity and we truly trusted them. As I said, they are in it for the long-term and they honestly have the customers' best interests at heart. I'm not one who normally gives effusive reviews like this, but Max and A-K are really outstanding.

I was looking for a real estate agent for a first home purchase and found Samer online with all of these reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I respect when other people are willing to go out of their way to endorse someone, so I gave him the chance. He immediately lived up to all of the reviews and I am really glad I came across his info.
Samer helped me quickly close on my first home, as well as help me buy an investment property and find me a tenant to move into it. He knows the market, the process, and the ins-and-outs like no one I had worked with before. Highly recommended.

Bought a Condo home in 2013 for approximately $300K in Buckingham, Arlington, VA.
Fantastic agent. Prior to meeting Samer, I've used other agents for both buying and selling real estate, and I've always privately queried to myself "What do these people really DO to earn the commission cut of my transaction?" There's no question about Samer earning his commission. On the "shopping" day, he took me to over a half dozen different homes, and with each stop, he explained to me exactly what things there were to like and dislike about the home. At the end of it, he told me which home was the best for me. It was one of the top three for me, but I wasn't sure, so I asked why and he explained in detail. He talked me out of a higher-priced place, thus forgoing a higher commission for himself in order to put me in the home that was best for me. All the while, he is impressively busy with a multitude of clients, but I never felt like I was "on hold" for him. He called me, he emailed me, he was always ahead of the work that needed to be done. I NEVER had to ask him "what's the status on this," because he was always giving me answers before I needed to ask questions. He's the guy to go with.
