Do listing agents pay for videos of their listings?
A friend of mine who is an accomplished documentary film director is considering starting a business catering to listing agents and brokers where he'd create a short high-production value video of a home that's for sale. I was wondering whether any of you had experience with this and had any insight to share. I told him I thought it would only work for high-end listings (because he'd have to charge > $1,000 to make it worthwhile) and that it would be a hard sell to listing agents faced with a lot of other marketing alternatives. What do you think?
