Bought a home in 2011.
Steve recently helped us find and ultimatley buy a short sale property. The closing was delayed due to the fact that the short sale lender took almost 3 months to approve our contract, when it had preapproved the price before we ever signed a contract. As we had already sold a house, Steve had to negotiate an early occupancy agreement for us. We also had to navigate through the HUD rules (which are as clear as mud) and ended up applying with three different lending sources before he found one (New American) who could make the loan work. Steve was on top of everything from day one and we were in constant (it felt like) communication with each other. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to others.

Sold a home in 2011.
Steve helped us sell a piece of property in Albemarle County. There proved to be numerous difficulties due to some changes made by the county that dramatically affected the value and use of our property. Steve stayed with us through the entire ordeal until we finally sold the property. His advice was always thoughtful and on target.
It was great to work with him.
