Working with the team you really feel that you have an experienced team as a resource throughout the craziest and most stressful times of the home buying process. The team has a "get it done" mentality and always has their clients' absolute best interest in mind. We were looking for a home in a town a bit outside of the typical area that Sue and her team service, but that was never an issue for the team. The Sue Adler team helped us both to sell our existing home and to purchase a new one. Peter Jacoby, the team member who helped us find and purchase a home, possessed a great knowledge of the local (Short Hills and Summit, in our case) housing market and always made sure we viewed potential listings as soon as they came on the market. Once we found the house we wanted, he navigated us through a competitive, multiple-bid offer process and advised us skillfully regarding the offer and subsequent negotiations. He has a wonderfully affable manner and we really enjoyed working with him. Sue Adler was the agent who handled the sale of our home. She gave us helpful advice on staging. Peter also does the listing photography for the team. Anyone, who has viewed the team's listing photos online, can attest to what a gifted photographer he is and how his photos truly show each home at its best. Sue has an amazing grasp of the local market and her sharp strategic thinking regarding pricing and the timing of the listing led to us receiving multiple offers during our first weekend on the market. Sue displayed amazing leadership to team members, both on our listing and purchasing transactions. If we needed any special expertise or intervention to negotiate a sticky point, we knew we could call upon Sue to be a strong advocate and get the situation resolved. Once we entered the inspection/closing phase of the sell, Dawn, a member of the team who specializes in the inspection/closing process, became an invaluable resource for us. Then the magic goes even further when her team helps guide the contract process - from discussing terms to accepting the right offer. Her amazing transaction execution team led by Dawn steps in and guides the owner through any and all issues during the inspection and contract process. i hired Sue Adler as our realtor (we were the seller) based on her reputation around town. what i didn't know (or frankly understand well) was that not only would i get her but her "team". i had no real concept of what that approach was all about, but now that i've seen it in action i'd highly recommend it to anyone. its seems sort of the realtor concept on sterroids! Sue basically has an expert on all aspects of selling houses working with her. Whatever questions i had (electrical, structural, legal etc) she has someone that handles it immediately. No waiting for her to consult an outside expert. It's the no waiting aspect that i really liked. When i had a question, i wanted a quick answer and got it!! She had promised at our first meeting that calls would be answered within 15 minutes. Frankly i didn't really believe that speil but it proved absolutely correct throughout the entire process. Sue herself knows her business and her market extremely well. I needed a good marketer but one that was not obnoxious. Sue meet and exceed all my expectations. I would recommend her and her "team" approach to anyone looking to sell (or buy) in her markets.

We recently worked with Amy Gotsch to find our first home in Maplewood, NJ. As first time home buyers we were not familiar with the process and Amy guided us through every step. On our first meeting she took us on tours of 4 towns we were interested in then continued to show us houses almost every weekend for the next 6 months. If Amy wasn't available she always made sure someone on her team could take us out. The market was extremely competitive and we put offers on 4 different houses before finding our current house. Amy worked very quickly to make sure all of our offers were submitted quickly.

Once we found our current house and had an accepted offer we ran into a number of unforeseen issues with the seller. Amy went above and beyond to find solutions to every issue we encountered and helped us to close within 30 days.

The home buying process can be frustrating and stressful but Amy always helped us stay positive and ensured us that in time we would find the right house. We had a great experience with Amy and would strongly recommend her!
