If someone else like a realtor or previous owner posted interior photos, then I think that you can ask Zillow to remove them after you claim the house. If the photos are outside general arial photos or street shot photos then I don't think that there's anything you can do other than wait for google or bing or whoever the photo company is to update them. You can always post another thread in this same section to specifically ask the folks at Zillow to please help you remove photos. Make sure and claim your house first to protect your privacy. That way Zillow can see your claimed house, but your address remains private.
I don't know if this would help, but once you claim your house you can move the house marker icon. Zillow has a video that might help you here. Most people can get it placed better if not totally perfect with a little fiddling. There was an issue with placing the house icon. I don't know if it's fixed, but if not here are more specific written instructions on placing the icon. If it is a different problem with the larger map or the arial view, I am not sure how to fix that other than letting Zillow know about the error. You can do that with the small gray flag in the ownership box on the main house page under the chart section. There is a pull down list there to let them know about map errors. Hope the links help.
I don't think so. I think that the current credit will have to expire first before anyone can see if this market has legs of it's own. Most of the numbers until spring 2010 will be buyers credit driven as long as employment remains soft.
In the real world, yes. On Zillow, not really unless the view is reflected in a higher sales price or a higher assessment. If you are an owner with a nice view, I would definitely consider posting a photo of the beautiful view on your home page. Buyers do pay extra for them, but Zillow can only see the numbers.
The best way to change information that is wrong on Zillow is to claim your home and edit the information. They have more on how to claim here and how to edit things like square footage etc. here. You also may be able to correct the map yourself depending on the problem. You can move the house marker icon. Zillow has a video that might help you here. Could it be "water hammer"? See here. Water hammer can be caused by lots of things like air in the pipes, loose pipes or changes in pipe size in the wall from a larger diameter to a smaller one. I saw a piece on this old house where they installed a water hammer arrester which equalized the pressure in the pipes to help the problem. There is a do it yourself info page for water hammer solutions here from a handyman that might give you some ideas too.
I don't think there is an "email to friend" button. If there is, I have missed it too. Other people have asked about Zillow adding one though so you never know since they do add features based on suggestions.
How does one 'Release' a house, and 'Claim' a house? I cannot find any info on this site for this?
