Let me start by saying Scott is a really nice guy- very personable but really comes through as a salesperson. I believe his niche is higher-end properties so if you need to list your home for sale and it's under $300,000 you just aren't going to get the personal attention from this group you need to get the property sold. Too many times we would call and Scott himself (who listed our property) would say, "who is this?" Yes, it's big company but if you are the listing agent, know your clients.

He had only been in the property twice during the YEAR it was on the market with his firm. He took no interest at all in the property relying on the internet and other agencies to get it sold. Varley Realty USA showed the house less than 6 times out of 25+ showings in a year. It wasn't even getting attention from other agents within the agency.

Varley was more interested in how many hits the listing received and not about the fact that 30 showings were done with only one offer. Photos of the house were awful and his response was "get your own photographer then". Geez....maybe discuss the issue and resolve it between us, him and the photographer? Nope.

When the feedback was positive his idea was to make a seller's offer dropping the price over and over. This seems lazy and it was ineffectual.

Gladly we ended our contract with this firm, started with a new one and sold the home within a month. We look back at this experience as a wasted year.

Prior to signing with the Scott Varley Group, I had my house on the market with another realty group for 8 months with no results... After listing my house with Scott, my house sold within a week. They provided a free staging consultation, and a professional photographer. I feel these were monumental in the quick turn around. The level of professionalism far exceeds all other agencies I've encountered.
