Sydney was very helpful. She responded to emails and texts very quickly. She gave honest opinions of the properties. She assisted quickly with all questions. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a house in Etowah County.
Sydney is great!!! Buying a home can be an extremely stressful experience, but Sydney alleviated much of that stress. She is a very hard worker, she maintained clear and precise communication throughout the process, she submitted all necessary paperwork in a timely manner, and she was very organized! She worked as if it was her home and her family's livelihood at stake. I am very grateful for her as an agent and now as a friend. I guarantee my next buying/selling experience will include Sydney Gunter!
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 in Gaylesville, AL.
My wife and I began searching for a lake house for our retirement years around a year ago and we met Sydney looking at one of her properties. We told her the price range we were interested in and what we were looking for. Sydney showed us all the properties we wanted to look at and was very patient with us because we really didn’t know what we wanted. She would always tell us the pros and cons of what we were looking at, a very honest and straight forward Agent always caring for her client. She is the most professional, knowledgeable and caring agent that we’ve met (My wife and I have purchased several residences through our 39 years of marriage). This past week (04/11/14), we closed on our dream house in which we made the offer and Sydney had it closed within the month we contracted the property. I would recommend Mrs. Sydney Gunter to anyone looking to purchase property or a residency, she will help you all she can to make the deal work!!!!
Bought a Single Family home in 2014 for approximately $150K in Dickson, TN.
I absolutely loved working with Sydney. I was on the market for my first home, Sydney provided me with a list of available homes the same day I contacted her. I reviewed the homes and sent her a list of the ones I wanted to see, which was about 17. She scheduled for me to see all 17 homes in a marathon style run across Dickson and Cheatham county couple days later. This was perfect for me because I was very anxious to get out there and go look at the houses. I know some people would be like that sounds insane and I wouldn't never want to do that, but this what worked for me and how I wanted it. Sydney ran all over the counties taking me from house to house, and when we were finished and I had decided which one I loved she got me in to see it for a second time that day. Later after a full day of running around, she stayed with me so I could put in an offer on the house that I ended up buying! I don't know anyone who would work that hard to get you what you really want, but she did!
Bought a Single Family home in 2009 for approximately $125K in Columbia, TN.
If you've worked with real estate agents for long, you've probably met the disinterested agent who considers your transaction to be a bother and wants to put in as little effort as possible. Sydney is not one of those. She helped us as a buyer's representative on a bank-owned foreclosure property, which means it was more work than usual for her, and probably less commission too. Nevertheless, she handled it like a pro, helping us to get the deal, and then making sure our interests were protected. I can think of two or three areas where she went above and beyond to save us money, and there were probably more I never knew about. This included things like recommending a local contractor to do needed repairs after closing, and even negotiating with him on our behalf to get a better price that we could have gotten for ourselves. She was also very responsive any time we had a question or concern. We found Sydney to be the kind of professional whose expertise is well worth the money spent. Next time we have a need for a realtor, she will be on our short list.
Sydney helped us LEAP through several hoops we encountered while trying to buy a house. She patiently guided us through the process as we were not the most decisive couple and we had a limited amount of time to search. After we purchased the house she was still there to guide us through using the first year insurance when our water heater broke. Even now, several years after being our buyers agent, Sydney has been there when she didn't have to be.
Sold a Single Family home in 2011 in White House, TN.
We found ourselves in need to have our homes sold as quickly as possible, Sydney had no problem having more than enough knowledge and several options to approach with the selling of our home and the most amount of money.
Sydney has the knowledge of Tennessee, Alabama and beyond and if you chose an area that she did not know she would find out. The widespread connection of so many people at the tip of her fingers, with her absolute top personality, honesty, the upmost respect of the seller, buyer she can get the job done so seamlessly.
We have the utmost respect for Sydney Gunther and all she did for us, we would recommend recommend her to anyone!
We thank you from the bottom of our hearts Sydney for all that you did for us! God bless you abundantly.

Bought a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $400K in Mount Juliet, TN.
We used Sydney based on stellar reviews from a family member, that moved into the Nashville area years ago but that has used her on more than one occasion. We knew house hunting would be a challenge since we were looking to relocate to TN from New England . . . but once initial contact was made we started receiving information on houses that fell within our criteria. She worked around our very challenging schedule, and in all cases pulled everything together in time for us to fly into the area, look at selected houses, and fly back out.
Luckily our search was rewarded with a great new house that was still under final stages of construction. This is where Sydney stood above the rest, as she coordinated several of the details related to finishing touches and even stopped in to take dozens of photos to keep us updated at different levels of finish construction. Living 1,100 miles away during this process was stressful, but her willingness to take time out of her busy day to give us real time progress reports was such a huge relief.
We will definitely use her again if/when the time comes, and based on our positive experience would recommend her to family & friend alike.
