I am a Realtor® with RE/MAX Traditions in the greater Cleveland metropolitan area. This area encompasses all surrounding areas out toward the Chagrin Valley to the east, and Avon/Avon Lake (in Lorain County) to the west...and everything in-between! More Less
With 20+ years in the industry, I have learned that it is extremely important to LISTEN and UNDERSTAND the customers' needs. It doesn't matter that you may be a seller or buyer, but that I try to identify your specific goals, and what you want/need to achieve in your transaction.
With the world becoming "global", all the technologies that are surfacing in the real estate market are of no help to anyone if the Realtor® you are working with is not skilled in using them, tech-savvy, and willing to be open-minded enough to integrate new ones, when the opportunity arises. Buyers come to us from everywhere in the world....global village...so your property needs to be seen by everyone...wherever they are when they are looking. I use Facebook, Twitter, a Blog, a personal website, and video to market the properties. I use Virtual Tours so the buyer/seller can see most aspects of the homes they are looking at. And...I handle all the paperwork generated by use of all the new technology.
I work hard to make the entire transaction "easy" for the people I work with. If you are not having fun...you shouldn't be looking! It's most certainly a serious issue because it is usually a person's largest financial transaction in their lifetime...and that is serious! At the same time, I believe that you should totally enjoy the experience...have fun looking, selling, buying...and finding the home you want...or selling your own home. I want you to laugh, get excited, and enjoy the process.
The ultimate goal: to help people make good real estate decisions, and to be happy with those decisions. The day after an offer is accepted, everyone...buyer, seller...should wake up excited about moving forward in their lives. Buyer will be getting their desired home, seller will move out of a good home, and into something they wanted....and they will all move to the next stage of their lives. What a fun experience!
