The big part of finding the best house for me was finding the best realtor, because before that all my effort was spent just trying to get listings to view. It took a while to find the right realtor, but when I met Thomas Curry and he began explaining the child-safety aspects involved in the home search, my husband and I instantly knew the search for the right realtor was over: We had found the best realtor, when we found Thomas. I am a VERY selective buyer. Thomas Curry showed us dozens of great properties, and we found that the things that many realtors don't talk about (code permits, whether the additions to a property were 'legal' or safe, the probability of lead-paint hazards at a property) were things that Thomas always offered very important info about. My family became knowledgeable buyers by the time Thomas finished answering our questions and explaining the real estate process to us. My family now has an excellent property that Thomas got for us at a great price, a former foreclosure. Thomas isn't a boisterous agent; he is even-tempered, but when he starts negotiating, I'm telling you, even ten Donald Trumps couldn't knock him down. Thomas maneuvers the give-and-take without backing down, and until we bought this property my husband and I hadn't understood the value of that sharp skill in a realtor. We keep Thomas' contact info, because I can honestly say he's the best there is. I recommend him to people, and next time I need an agent he's the only one I'll call.…More Less

Bought a home in 2011.Summary:
Thomas Curry was a great help when we were searching for our new home. In no time Thomas set us up on his system tailored to our needs in which we would immediate receive notifications as soon as a home became available that met our prerequisites. Thomas is an all around very experienced realtor, specifically in the area of short-sales and foreclosures.
One area which Thomas understands very well is recognizing when there is a problem with a home, in particular, Chinese drywall. On one showing, he immediately recognized that a home was affected by the flawed drywall. Given the amount of newer homes affected by Chinese drywall and the costs associated with it, it is very important that your realtor understands this.
I would recommend Thomas to anyone who is looking for a motivated and experienced realtor who responds to your calls/emails right away, and who will be looking out for your interest first.…More Less
