I have not yet sold decided on a house to buy, but when I do I'll certainly call Mike. He has been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He has also kept me abreast of changes in the mortgage market that affect me. He is not pushy or hard-sell, and the GFEs he has provided me seem very reasonable. I'm glad I found him on Zillow.

Mike was great to work with. His lender gives really great rates - once I shopped around I was actually kinda blown away by just how good the rates actually were. My wife said "too good to be true", but they weren't - his rates were real and his lender was a respected institution. I would highly recommend Mike.

Mike did respond quickly upon initial conversation. However, when I told Mike that I was leaning towards the 30 Year Interest Only, as opposed to the 5/1 ARM Interest Only, he told me that it did not make sense and proceeded to sell me on the 5/1 ARM product. He did not even tell me what he could do on the 30 Year.
To answer your question- Yes, I am purchasing a home.... I currently have 2 offers pending..... BUT, my advice to you Mike is this: listen to what your customers are saying, especially with higher net worth clientel. In my case, I do not care that YOU think the rate is so much better on the 5/1 ARM vs. the Fixed (which you have yet to quote)... In fact, the money for closing costs, and payment are irrevelant. I'm CHOOSING to take out a mortgage on this home instead of paying cash for it, and I would like to decide which product that I go with instead of having a loan officer try to sell me on what the get the best rate and payoff on.

I am currently in the middle of the loan process with Mike but I expect to close by early February. He has been very responsive and he understands what I am looking for. I prefer to communicate via e-mail and he has been fine with that throughout the process. Very easy to work with.
