I really enjoy working with buyers. I bought my first home at 19 years old at 653 Glen Oaks Rd, Thousand Oaks CA and I want to be the agent that helped me.  I always give showing appointments priority. The best homes go fast and I want my clients to have every opportunity to consider all homes in their desired area and price point.

Selling a home? I'm always happy to do a free no obligation walk through, I'll give you objective staging tips to help show your house in the best light and point out some of buyers biggest pet peeves that are easy fixes.

Photos! They must be great. Most people start their search on the internet. The pictures will determine if they want to see your home, so put your best foot forward for photo day. I use a professional photographer on all my listings.

Internet? I make sure your home is in the MLS as well as the national sites including Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com. There are a lot of folks that transfer from out of state to Alabama and we want to be ready when they start their search.

Bought a home in 2014.

We were looking for a house on line. I submitted an inquiry on line and within the hour Tom had made contact and we were meeting within hours to view the property. The best part, this was on a SUNDAY! He was ALWAYS available to show us properties. He is fun, down to earth, very smart when it comes to Market Values and area statistics. He knew what area was great and ones to avoid. He knows about schools and restaurants. He had great recommendations and was a pleasure to work with. He went above and beyond from day one. We would recommend him to everyone. I take his business cards to work to pass out, that is how awesome of a Realtor he truly is. We had a great time working together.  More Less

Bought a home in 2014.

As first time buyers, Tom made every effort to ensure my wife and I got the best house for the best deal possible. He went above and beyond what I would consider a realtor's job in finding our home making himself extremely available for showings, working around our busy schedules, finding the right house for our needs, and being very patient, honest, and open throughout the process. He made us feel high on his list of priorities even though we were looking for a very modest, humble home. He also set us up with a mortgage broker he works with frequently which was pivotal, as the previous broker we were dealing with made our situation at the moment feel a bit hopeless. I found that having a realtor and broker working together on the same team is an important factor. I could go on, but all in all, Tom is who you want either helping you buy or sell a home. After a long time being discouraged with this process, it's entirely because of him that we are finally able to stop throwing away money on rent and bring our soon to be first born son to our own home. If we decide to sell or buy in the future, Tom is our guy.  More Less

Bought a home in 2014.

Involved in a short sale that is taking too long. To be fair Mr. Sartain did inform me At the start it would take a long time. The listing agent did not file the proper paper Work and then quit the business. He has since re done the paperwork. This Is a cash deal and I just dont understand the long wait. If and when the sale is Complete my process grade would be much better, the grade is not all toward Mr. Sartain but the process. The bank has to be losing money each month and I just dont understand their business model. There does not to be a way for The real estate agent to talk to someone with authority at the bank to get the process Completed. I would think after the first listing agent royally screwed up, the deal Would be put on the fast track but this is not happening. I am frustrated!  More Less

So sorry you did not get the condo you wanted. Homeowner did not prove financial hardship. The bank did not approve to sell the property for less than loan balance. Third Party Approval is needed. I have no control over other agents or their performance. There are other similar units for sale in that subdivision.
