I want to sing the praises of Jill Armstrong (realtor in Iowa) and her team! We put our house on the market a year ago with another agent who sounded great on paper etc. but got basically no results.... Over 30 showings and not even a low ball offer. We finally decided to switch agents. Jill made only a couple suggestions to make the house look its best and she staged it like a boss! Seriously, it looked so good. It was listed for one day with her and we got a very reasonable offer! ONE DAY!!! I cannot recommend her enough. She knows her stuff, does what she promises, and gets the job done!

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $300K in Iowa City, IA.
Several friends suggested I consider Jill to represent me in the sale of my home. She'd helped them in selling their property and they were confident she would do the job for me. Am I ever glad I did. From start to finish she provided helpful direction in preparing/maintaining my home for sale. She offered names of reputable contractors who performed quality improvements. She staged the home for the best possible showing. A high volume of prospects were the result of innovative marketing strategies. She and her team provided constant feedback and support. They were responsive to my inquiries and concerns. We became friends as well as business partners.
She helped negotiate a fair deal and took care of all the paperwork. I am happy to suggest Jill as an agent you should consider and would certainly utilize her team's resources when I buy/sell future properties.

Sold a home in 2012.
Jill is a great realtor and my husband and I will definitely recommend her to anyone we know house hunting in the Iowa City/Coralville area! Jill listened to our time frame, inspect our house in person, and quickly made recommendations including necessary impairment and cleaning. She also decorated our rooms in person to emphasize the goodness of our house. Once the house is ready we couldn't believe how much nicer it has become. Jill's strategy and suggestions in pricing worked well. As as a result we sold our house in a relatively more acceptable price in just two weeks from the day it was put into the market. Jill was extremely attentive and always responsive when we had questions or requests. Jill is also a resource person who has all the hands working as a team, even including a photographer who will take photos and management web advertisement, which makes her work both effective and efficient. If you want to sell your house there is no better realtor you can ask for help than Jill and her team! Thank you!

I nearly hired Jill Armstrong to sell my property in Iowa City. She insisted I list it for more than 10% less than I knew is was worth. She showed me comps to justify her logic that were clearly not as valuable. I went with another agent and sold my property in under two weeks and I got 98% of my asking price. Jill Armstrong nearly cost me $ 30,000. Yes she's good at selling homes - because she gets sellers to list them at lower prices so she can sell em fast and she makes more money for herself - everything sells at low prices! Sellers beware - don't use Ms. Armstrong unless you want less money.

Showed home in 2012 in Iowa City, IA.
We've been working with Jill right now to find a house in Coralville, North Liberty area. While we met 4,5 realtors at the beginning of our home hunt as we just jumped in to the open houses, etc, Jill stood out in every way. Whenever we have a question, her response has been immediate and thorough. But what my husband and I appreciate most is her honest & to the point comments about the houses we went to see together. It's been very helpful, and we would recommend her to all our friends.
Listen to Jill's suggestions on staging your home and you will be out of it before you know it!
