We had been searching for a very specific property (lots of requirements and not a lot of money) for about three years when we switched realtors and started working with Steve.
I really thought we gave Steve an impossible task, but he called one morning and told me he found had found the right place, and it had just been listed. We took a look that day, and it was exactly what we wanted- right neighborhood, right size, right condition, and right price. Knowing that good deals get snapped up quickly, Steve laid out an aggressive strategy for us to follow. It was Labor Day weekend, and the goal was to get an offer accepted before the masses (and other potential buyers) returned from their 3-day weekend.
I didn't think it could be done, but with some savvy negotiation advice from Steve, and his persistent work on the sellers over the weekend, we were in contract by the end of day Tuesday. We are in the house now and loving it.
Key to getting the deal we got was being the first to see it, reacting quickly, and being persistent with the sellers. As a bonus – Steve has a great relationship with the local realtors, which helps things go easier. He also has a team he works with for financing, inspections, etc… to keep things moving things along.
All in all, we are very happy with our experience.
