When our mother died, the house empty, we did not know how to begin to ready her house for selling. We remembered how helpful the realtor was when newly divorced I had to relocate. Peter Yates was called to take a look at our problem. He was ready and anxious to help us. He had the roof checked, sure enough, a section needed replaced. He suggested we have the roof pressured cleaned, which we did. He looked around the yard and told us which trees and bushes needed to be cut back. A walk through the house ended with a list of items to be dealt with. Things on his list included painting the dining, kitchen and living rooms. Ripping up old carpet, replacing an outside door, and removing all old drapes. Per his suggestion we removed a dysfunctional refrigerator. We were out of town for two months but he still worked with a buyer faxing and refaxing papers to us. Continually keeping in touch with us. When evidently it became too much for the buyers realtor she gave up. But, thank goodness, Mr Yates stayed working for us and got the house sold within four months. Thank you for standing by us, Mr. Yates.
