Al was an absolute delight to work with (and I am not easily pleased)! His follow-up was impeccable, is ability to talk me off of the ledge when I needed it and his attention to detail were all spot on. Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $250K in Franklin Park, Columbus, OH.
Al did an excellent job for my wife and I. He helped us sell a historic home that my wife and I spent ten years remodeling. The house was really our first baby. We had an emotional connection to the house and we were try to sell it at a time when it was a buyer's market. Al was patient, informative and smart and always seemed to be looking out for our best interest. If you have a historic home in Columbus, particularly in the Franklin Park and Olde Towne East area, I strongly recommend you use Al Waddell as your agent.

Sold a Single Family home in 2013 for approximately $275K in Franklin Park, Columbus, OH.
If you are buying or selling a unique or historical home in Columbus, Al Waddell should be your agent. With his knowledge of the historical neighboorhoods of Columbus, he is able to point out and bring out the character in an older home that may have other wise been overlooked. His attention to detail creates remarkable and even keepsake worthy marketing material.
Al listed my 96 year old home at a price point well over $100k higher than other agents recommended. Not only was he able to sell the house, but he had it in contract within 2 weeks, worked thru some very unfortunate circumstances to keep the sale on track, and closed the deal within 60 days.
If I ever move back to Columbus, Al Waddell will be at the top of my list of people to notify.

Bought a Single Family home in 2010 in King-Lincoln-Bronzeville, Columbus, OH.
I was fortunate enough to have Al as the selling agent on a property I was buying. He was the person I went to, even over my own agent.
I really hope Al is still in the profession when I am ready to sell my house, because he will be the first person I contact.

Al went out of his way to help us in looking for a home in Columbus. He is professional and is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to explain all the details of purchasing a home.
Al went, I believe, above and beyond the norm, he made us feel comfortable in the process and was always willing to take the time to explain any of the contracts. Al would also make himself available to answer all the questions that we had.
If you are a first time buyer you will be impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I could not recommend him highly enough.

Al Waddell is the most professional, intelligent, kind, and over-all most useful realtor in Columbus, and maybe in the entire state of Ohio. I highly suggest giving him an email or a call if you are looking to buy a house. He is so informative and friendly. I really can't describe how great of a realtor he is; just an absolute joy to have around during the process of home buying.
