Tom has enjoyed working in real estate since 1984 because it's not just a job, it's his passion. Who else is ambitious enough to buy an undeveloped piece of land in rural Valley Center and start building a home from scratch? Tom became an owner/builder in 2001 and has taken his experience in building his dream home turning it into his specialty in the real estate field. He is knowledgeable in many areas including the specialized verbiage of constructing a home, the tax ramifications, safety issues, the permit process in the county as well as county codes and legal issues surrounding the easements frequently found on vacant land and estate homes.
Tom will help you buy your first home, he absolutely knows the ins and outs of Homeowners' Associations and can help you buy or sell your condominium, tract housing home or vacation rental property. Where Tom exceeds and excels is in vacant land purchases, as well as estate and large properties; helping you find and buy the land you need to build your own dream. He will advise you through the escrow process from start to finish.
When you hire Tom you're not only hiring a Realtor you can trust, you are gaining and adviser who's expertise and support is invaluable in assisting you in assessing the quality of construction and location of your next home.
Tom moved to California from Chicago in 1997 and began working in outside sales for the family office supply business, during which he increased sales from $200,000 to $1.5 million.  He earned his real estate license to purchase and take on the responsibility for seven rental properties.  As he did the rehabilitation on these units the idea for the House to Home Foundation was born with the mission for providing and producing inexpensive rehabs. He became an active volunteer in 1995 and began his involvement with Lifeline providing budget training there. Fast forward to find Tom becoming the founder and president of the House to Home Foundation in 2009 to help America's needy and give back to the community that has supported him for many years.
