We had a great experience working with Lori through the whole house purchasing process. She is very professional, knowledgeable of the market and area, and just the best realtor we have worked with by far. She successfully guided us through a tough search and closing to find our dream home.I highly recommend her.

Sold a Single Family home in 2012 for approximately $475K in Williston Park, NY.
Lori made our experience in selling our home as easy as possible, completing the whole process from listing to closing in six months in a difficult selling market. She knew the neighborhood and the market trends and had an excellent sense of buyers' needs and preferences. Always accessible, Lori responded to phone calls and emails immediately. She also communicated with both attorneys involved. Through it all, Lori was always pleasant and gave us confidence that she had everything under control, which she did. She earned our highest regard and recommendation.

Bought a home in 2012.
Lori Scrobe worked very hard to help us find the right home. She was patient, very patient. Lori was also pleasurable and extremely professional. She fully understood what was most important to us, what we were flexible with, and which particulars would not work for us. She worked tirelessly and was always optimistic.

Unlike the television show where people view 3 homes and purchase one of them, real life doesn't operate that way. We wanted a home in a specific neighborhood, but the available homes were not a fit for us. Lori brought us to other nearby towns that offered a fair comparison to what we were looking for. It felt like Virgil leading us through the underworld. Eventually Lori, our very own Beatrice, found us our little slice of heaven. At first it didn't look like heaven, but we could tell that Lori truly felt that this was as good as it was going to get for us. She was right. One of the most difficult aspects of buying a home is knowing when to trust an agent.

This is our third home. During the search for our first home, one agent told us we were going to need to compromise. This was after viewing only three homes. We did not look at a fourth home with this agent.

There is always a responsibility for the buyer, and that is to understand the cost of what you are looking for and to be prepared to make an offer. You want a home. You don't want to waste time, your time or the agent's. That's why they invented Hawaii. Even with this in mind, searching for a home can be a painful experience. We had the intention of not using an agent. We did not want a roadblock to any available home. We discovered Lori at an open house and that good intention flew out the window. Best decision we made. We are extremely confident you will feel the same way.

Bought a home in 2011.
Lori Scrobe patiently helped us explore homes in our price range. She knowledgably navigated us to homes with real value. Lori delves deeply into the real issues; taxes, variances, heating systems, soundness of the house. Her hard work and dedication quickly landed us a contract. Lori’s foresight and good resources saved us time and headaches. We are happily settled into our new home. Thanks Lori!! Kenneth and Lisa Lynch
