Margaret Zarcone's love of working with people, empathy for their unique needs, and effectiveness in facilitating the most satisfying outcomes makes her a natural at selling real estate, where she enjoys partnering with clients to find their special home, or working with sellers to help put together a proactive plan to sell their home so that they can get what they want in the time they want. A Manhattanite who lived and worked in NYC for many years, Margaret's introduction to the North Fork began as a child when she vacationed with her family in the Hamlet of Baiting Hollow. She and her husband returned to the family cottage in Baiting Hollow as "weekenders" from the City for over 10 years, until ultimately making the North Fork their permanent home. It was their dream come true! Margaret finds nothing more rewarding than meeting new friends and neighbors, and helping them maximize their investments.
Prior to devoting her professional focus to real estate, Margaret enjoyed an extensive career in nursing and nursing administration. As a strong leader and diligent manager in woman's health, she accumulated a wealth of experience interacting with people of all kinds; plus she oversaw the multitude of details that was a daily part of her demanding job. Margaret has the patience, dedication and wherewithal to make sure that every aspect of your real estate transaction is a seamless, enjoyable and satisfying one.
Margaret also has a backround in interior design having studied at Parson's School of Design. This has given her a keen eye for aesthetics and talent for staging that helps present her sellers' home in the best possible light. Whether you are looking to purchase, sell or rent a property on Long Island's North Fork, Margaret will guide you through the process with attentive service, and utmost care and ease.
Residing in Southold with her husband, Margaret is a member of the Southold Rotary. She is on the Board as Director of International Projects.
